I wub Li here!!! He's so handsome than he was in Cardcaptor Sakura!!! Though...Sakura's too skinny...in my observation though.
and who would forget the person who sang "Loop" for Tsubasa Chronicle? Maaya Sakamoto!!!! The VOICE of Aerith in Japan!!! XD Also the voice of Tomoyo!!!!
I read the manga but haven't seen the anime yet.
Would anyone mind if I give a review of what I thought of the anime/manga? :D
The manga so far is cute and lovely - it outshines the anime by a longshot from what I've seen so far, mainly because there are cute little scenes here and there, and the drawings are lovely (though a little too stretched).
However, the anime is a disappointment. I was really hyped when I heard it was coming, but when it came, I only watched the first three or four episodes out of hope. (Honestly, I still think the first episode was the best.) The rest was only to see how it would end. Not saying that it was really horrible... there are others that are much worse.
GRADING:
The music was very nice - especially the ending song. Kinda reminds me of Cleris... XD But, ahem; ANYWAY! One of the songs that irked me the most was the one that kept repeating practically every time Li got into a fight. Huh. It was cool the first few times, but then it became an earsore.

As expected from CLAMP, the drawings were beautiful. The outfits were unique and cute, while the places were elaborately drawn, especially in the desert world where Syaroan and Sakura belonged. Though I have a bone to pick with the character designs - they looked far too stretched out. Like bubblegum.

The plot was also rather interesting - it was beautifully romantic, with Syaroan promising to restore Sakura's memories even if she does not remember him. All of this business with the "God's Favorite Daughter" and so on are also rather interesting; I want to see where they go with this.

The cast of Tsubasa Chronicles is interesting: the new characters I just adore (Fai and Kuro!), while the older ones could improve. I haven't watched enough CLAMP projects to recognize other characters, but that doesn't bother me - they only play minor roles, save Syaroan and Sakura.
But those two I specially mentioned - ARGH! They were annoying! Syaroan just kept ranting about saving Sakura, while Sakura acted like she was half-asleep. I didn't like both characters that much in CCS, but at least they had personalities. Sakura's an emotionless DOLL! And I miss that awkward, I-don't-need-your-help! Syaroan in the CCS series; he's just a little better off than Sakura.

The worst flaw of Tsubasa Chronicles is the execution. It's just... horrible. CLAMP wastes lots of time having the characters stare at each other with the abovementioned annoying music playing. Not only that, but the romance is ruined with the cliche-ness, and the other events with even more cliche-ness.
The mood of the anime is constantly changing: the part of the superdeformed!characters comes very rarely, and when it does, it just doesn't fit the with the somewhat solemn mood of the anime. I find it doesn't match well at all.

The anime is decent, but honestly, if you want to watch it, watch it with subs (um... DVD? Dunno.) with the volume turned reeeeally low. And you have to be able to sit through the whole thing without the urge to run away from the TV every few episodes.
the manga was so much better IMO. the anime made them over deformed... but it's as slow as the manga. XD at first i didn't really like how... err uh, useless Sakura was. but she began to act as the real heroine later in the manga. but now it's full of flashbacks and it became more confusing than ever. T_T CLAMP really likes giving so much confusion and more mysteries. WAH. but i still love Tsubasa. i hope the manga gets finished soon!
