How do you answer the phone?

Well, me, I used to say the traditional "Hello?", but ever since I got my cell phone, I answer with "Mushimushi!" :lmao: That's only because the people who call me know who I am, not some stranger or ad campaign. :P No embarassment!

Actually...I either answer my phone with What?, Shoot., Hey Slugger! or the infamous Yellow?

When I've watched my newest Anime episodes on On Demand, I say MushiMushi, when I'm been doing something eles (making vid, graphic, watching normal tv, been outside, etc) I say Talk to me, or Hey depending on who it is usually

Depending on who it is I say "Yeah?" All the other times I say "Hello?" Like most people. XD But if its one of my guy friends, sometimes I'll joke around and be like "Hello lover" just for a laugh. :lol:

I tend to say......."Hiiiiiiii?" xD

But since I don't have a cell phone.....xD If I did, I'd be saying the weirdest things.


Well, actually, I already do, because we dislike ads and crap so we wait for the answering machine....I said something along the lines of "Shnrforflegurchloodre?" Or something before.....xD I'm crazy! LOVE ME! :angry:

When it's someone I know, I'll say "ahoy hoy?". If it isn't for me, I don't pick it up. Ever.

When I was younger, I was known by my sister's friends because everytime someone phoned, I'd pick up the phone and say "Hello, who is it?" which was somehow funny to them.

LOL, well i usually say "hello" or "yellow".... if i'm in a good peppy mood, i do the "Mmmmmelo!" :lmao:

On the house phone, which I rarely ever pick up, the traditional 'Hello?'

If someone is handing me the phone, because it's for me - 'Jallo?' / 'Yeah? / 'Yesh?' / 'Who be you?' (don't ask haha) / or just 'Hello?'

And on my cellphone, it depends on who I'm talking to, but normally it's - 'Jallo?'

I would say "elo?" or "oui?" in a British accent when im in a good mood. Or I would just say "Yo? Who is this?" in my "ghetto" mode :sweat:

Hmm.. Usually I would say 'Hello' and 'Yeah?' or if i'm expecting a call from someone i really know (example, my older brother.) i'd say 'what?'...

If I don't know who it is, I'll just say "Hello?"...

If it's a friend then it's a simple, "Yo."

And if it's my friend Ryan... he gets a "What's up F***er?" Or some other swearword. Only the closest friends can cuss at each other regularly without getting offended. =P

Any number I don't recognise I'll just say 'hello'. If it's someone I know, and I fancy joking around with them I'll say 'allo, who is it?' in a French accent (Monty Python reference) or 'Hello, Lucky Garden?' (a Chinese takeaway near us). If it's my brother, he gets a 'what do you want?'

If I'm not in a jokey mood, I'll just say 'Alright?'

Almost 99.9% of the time I'll say hello. I used to say "Hello Clarice" or "Hazzah," but I stopped. I don't know why either.

I have the traditional, "Hello" but my since I rarely pick up the phone (stalker guy has my number *shudder*) I got tired of having everyone call during the day and hang up. So my answering machine says, "This is Cassie, if you're not going to leave a message, dont bother calling anymore!" and after that a really sweet, "Thank you!"

But if I had a cell and knew who was calling I'd be, "Moshi moshi!"

I really want to put Gackt's answering machine message on there...or maybe Kyo from Dir en Grey screaming in it...XD!

I reply to chrissy, by saying HellUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!
other than that I never really talk on the phone.

Its always "Hewwos" from me ^_^
