Myself and my friend look **** like Tifa and Cloud respectivly...except my friend's hair is curly and not Chocobo-he--err, I mean, spiky.

The two of us are seriously different in personality from Cloud and Tifa, but see each-other as siblings...

...When I saw the history Cloud and Tifa had together, and the way they spoke, acted, and were friendly to each-other showed a different kind of love for them...

A love a brother and sister would share. If Cloti was cannon, wouldn't that be insest?

Personally, Cloud and Tifa seem seriously close, but not as lovers at all...When I bought the flower in the beggining of the game, I have it to Marlene, and Tifa sure didn't seem to have a problem with it in my POV.

I don't see why Cloti exists because of how they act. They're practically ferternal twins(twins that look different) and if you ask me those flashbacks made Cloud and Tifa look so much like family Cloti can--at times--make me puke when 'INSEST!!' screams in my mind...

Cloud and Aeries were a totally different story...

In the Golden Saucer fiasco, if you get Tifa, she nodds to Cloud after the fireworks ride...In Japanese culture, that's confirmation, NOT saying 'yes'.

Tifa obviously knew that Cloud chose Aeries over her, and Tifa didn't seem to have much of a problem with it at all as far as I saw...

I'm guessing she was realizing she saw Cloud as a brother if she hadn't earlier...that 'She's something more', in places that support Cloti should also add to that sentence 'Because we're Family'...

That's evidence enough for me...

Did you actually seen what happen in the Lifestream? To me, it finally shows and disapprove the 'childhood sweetheart' bits we hear from the Clotis. They're not that close as kids, just merely...as someone put it, childhood acquaintances.

Probably to you, but I saw them as siblings when they meet again as adults and even so during AC (with an added motherly feelings to the side). Plus, let the Clotis have their bits and pieces, ours are more believeable.

I don't know...i don't see them as siblings or even that close. My Japanese classmate told me that Tifa and Cloud aren't even childhood friends, Tifa was even bullying Cloud. (so much for a girl) But i can see the maternal side Tifa has. ^^ she cares for Cloud, although too much, Cloud seems to be awkward towards her concern. Lovers? don't think so. Siblings? far off, but in the Reunion Files, there's a statement there that Tifa has her maternal side, while Cloud as a 'big kid'.

Heh...I guess I just have a weird POV, but I never really saw that part at all...I can't seem to get ahold of AC, and I've been having **** trying to buy it...I'd try to torrent it but my laptop computor's broken and mom doesn't want me to download anything onto her computor...I may change my mind when I get a hold of it, but that may take a while...

I thought they were like siblings too. Not in the game, but AC made me feel like they were brother and sister. They obviously shared a very close, mutual, and special bond. But that bond is caring in the way that a family cares for one another. They don't act like lovers because Cloud isn't (and, IMO, never will be) all too open to Tifa about his emotions. While he hardly says two sentences to her in the bedroom scene, he tells Aerith exactly what he's feeling. I think he trusts and loves Tifa like he would a sister, but they don't share the emotional intimacy of a romantic relationship.

I will agree with that! Cloud and Tifa shared a "sibling" love than a "romantic" one. I mean, thats they way i see it. ^_^ But, yeah totally. Cloud cares for Tifa, but not in the way Cloti see it... guh.... it creeps me out they way they see Cloud and Tifa.... :fear:

I agree with you. I can't say they're siblings, but they do share a maternal bond. And she worries for Cloud too much, just like any mother who would be. If they were in a romantic relationship, Cloud would ease Tifa and assure her everything's alright...but we didn't see that in AC ne? Because they're not. So bear with me. Of course...Aerith is another story. ^_^

Mmm, in FFVII they seemed like distant friends until after Aeris died and Tifa was able to steal a little more spot light. After that they started getting a little closer, but I never saw anything very romantic between them.
I really saw the familial relationship after AC though. Not siblings, but Tifa is very much the mother of their family, and Cloud rather than being the father acts just like one of the kids. Tifa had to nag him, tell him what to do, he took off and never said anything about it etc etc

I wouldn't say they were really friendly or borther and sisterly or whatever.

They were two people that thought they knew each other but were mistaken. it's not until after they actually do spend quite a bit of time together that they relize they don't know each other.
