Ok, i am not good as Shakespeare, but I wrote this poem yesterday when my mind was flying on CxA during English Class. Anyway, this is a super long poem that narrates and summarizes the events (the Clerisy parts) of FFVII. I don't even know if this is even considered as a poem! >_< Ok, here it is. Please be kind for i am an amateur! XD
A Love That Can Never Be
The heart may be weak, but the feelings were strong,
Either a way, their love was so pure,
Fate and Destiny found it so chaste, nothing was wrong.
He happens to be so cold and stoic,
His dark aura never had been extremely shivering,
You can never call him so heroic.
But she, nonetheless, her hand offering,
To lift him up from his sins and weaknesses,
She opened up the world and gave light,
He tried to confide himself and released his soul from restlessness,
Finding the light so –in lack of words- right,
He realized her so optimistic, the better word, she was so hopeful.
With her encouraging words and happiness,
She was his light. Yet, he appreciated he met someone so beautiful,
So beautiful in heart and her essence,
He never got to realize he loved her all along til darkness pierced through her.
And that was, the ironic wish of her in his arms,
Though, he felt her for sure, she wasn’t there.
He never felt so loved, so cared, so…accepted, as him.
With no rhymes for the verse,
He relentlessly cried over,
Wishing, it was all a dream, as he wakes up, seeing the woman he fell
in love with,
She was so full of life,
And yet, she didn’t deserve to die,
It almost killed him, his heart shattered already, causing himself to strife.
He wished, she was by his side, he haven’t even kissed her yet.
What’s bothering him is, he couldn’t tell her how he feels anymore,
It didn’t matter though, he hoped that she feels the same way too,
No matter how far they were, he swore to meet her again,
Leaving another one who loves him dearly as whom he is, though unrequited.
He tried to move on, but he didn’t succeed, she was however,
The one who made him to feel, to feel so loved, so important…she made him feel that way, he found himself reciprocating it back.
The heart may be weak, but the feelings were strong, naught had been broken,
Either a way, their love was so pure, and still today,
Fate and Destiny found it so chaste, nothing was wrong. There wasn’t anything wrong.
He was so faithful to her, and will be ‘til forever.
He is still waiting ‘til they meet again, when his existence will be taken away, to be together in peace with his light, the flower girl.
