Okay, first poem I've written in maybe 6-7 years. Goddess inspired me to try poetry again for once. Keep in mind that rhyming is not my thing, that being the main reason I don't write poetry. Enjoy (although you probably won't).
A quiet flower girl saved me one day
I remember when we met, and you smiled at me
After you, nothing takes my breath away
Back there is the only place I want to be
A quiet flower girl now lost in Lifestream
I sat with you under the fireworks
After you, my soul can't even scream
We forgot it all: Sephiroth and the Turks
A quiet flower girl knelt in prayer
I remember your last smile under the moonlight
After you, all I can feel is despair
And it was then my heart shattered that night
A quiet flower girl I still continue to love
I won’t forget my memories of you, all that bliss
After you, you’re all that I can dream of
From when I was with the girl I knew I would miss

just so u know not all poetry has to rhyme. theres freeverse poetry where just about anything goes and thats the kind i do.
good poem though, keep it up. -smile-

Yes, yes, I am quite aware of that. AP English has taught me alllllll about poetry. I decided to make it rhyme though, despite my lack of rhyming talent. Thank you very much though. ^_^

I really like it. I do not pretend to know the first thing about poetry or the rules but personally I love how you have two different poems combined into one. Very nice Msz Aeris. I think you should continue to write if you enjoy it. I know I enjoyed reading it.

Even though you we won't enjoy it, it makes the poem more enjoyable. ^^ And plus this is quality work. It was close to making me cry, and it seems to me that in Cloud and Aerith's mind they would actually think that. ^^ For making this wonderful poem you get a hug :huggle: :D

This is a lovely poem ^_^ It nearly made me cry, if I was listening to Aerith's theme while reading that I would have >.> You're a great writer, keep it up and I'd love to read more stuff from you.
