If Aerith had a her rod... lol, but with claws and teeth? I think Tifa would have the upper hand, since she is, in fact a fist fighter. I think Tifa would be able to get Aerith pinned down in like a second. Aerith is smaller then Tifa, and I wouldn't doubt she's lighter. Poor Aerith, she's lover not a fighter. :lol:

I voted no. I like Aerith and Tifa as friends, and I personally don't feel it's in their characters to fight over a guy. Besides, I love both Aerith and Tifa. I don't wanna see two characters I like in a catfight. :no:

No. Tifa and Aerith were not the type of girls to physically fight over Cloud. Tifa may have gotten jealous, but I cannot honestly see her starting a fist fight over a guy. -_- Plus, the way I see it, Tifa accepted Cloud's decision to meet Aerith again at the ending. I think she knew she'd lost.

As for who would win? I dunno... Aerith could zap Tifa from afar with magic. :lol:

I voted no because they were too great of friends to actually have a bitchslap over Cloud, as demonstrated from the scene in Wall Market when Aerith and Tifa met, when Tifa questioned Aerith about seeing her with Cloud, it was quickly disregarded.

Theyw ould both more of less accept the other's feelings about being with Cloud and would be happy with them even though would also be feeling extremely sad.

By fighting a fist fight would degrade their character we all love. Also, it has more tensions with both girls being friends and like the same guy then rival enemies; rivalling enemies is kinda cliche`. Also, we seen how Tifa accepted Cloud's choice of being with Aerith at the end of the game.

Just so that this isn't spam, I'll add to my post from before. Throughout the game, the love triangle was pretty defined. Both Aerith and Tifa really liked/loved Cloud. Yet not once did the two of them argue over it. Not when Aerith would continuously flirt with him or when Tifa would talk about their childhood together. A catfight wouldn't be in line with the original game. Besides, I like to imagine that both women care so deeply for Cloud that it doesn't matter to them who he is with as long as he is happy.

OMG, it would be sooo awsome! I would pay just to see that! LOL, i mean Aeris would soo win... all she'd have to do is cast a simply spell, and it would take care of Tifa... ^_^

I wouldn't like to see one. It's kinda silly to think that ANYONE would do that, even people who don't like each other, but Tifa and Aeris got on fine so I see no reason for them to bicker over a guy.

As for everyone saying Aeris could just cast a spell...couldn't Tifa do that too? :P

Well, without Sources, Aerith easily wins with natural high magic talent. Tifa can cast spell, but it'd be weaker then when Aerith cast it.

In terms of a hand-to-hand, Tifa wins with her fists since Aerith's strength is not that high. (If it is, it'll be fun whacking monsters with a staff.)

Like what most of the people said, I'd say no. I seriously believe Tifa and Aerith are not so childish to fight over a guy. Especially a guy who doesn't really know about himself (no offense to Cloud). Yes, yes, I'm pretty sure Aerith might've act childish at times but I don't think she would go that low. I think they both know where they stand and believe that it's foolish to argue about it.

Besides, I am a "Tifa and Aerith are friends, not rivals" shipper so it would break my poor heart if I would to see them have a fight, moreover a catfight (which I think is extremely scary and ridiculous at the same time).

It's silly that they would catfight over a guy, even if he is a hunka blonde biceps like Cloud. I'm a closet AerithxTifa = girly-we-need-no-man shipper, so I would most certainly not want to see a catfight between them. Twould break my poor fangirl heart! :cry:

And agreed with everyone else, they actually were friends and got along in canon. There's no reason for them to fight at all - and they never did either, not even in tense situations.

It would be so out-of-character for both of them, and I doubt Tifa and Aerith would have that much hate for each other (they DID get along in the game, y'know) that they would start a catfight. And despite his hawt-ness, Cloud, or any man for that matter is worth destroying a friendship over.

Well, i made this topic almost 2 months ago. and i kinda forgot what was my reason. I think it was, 'seems interesting' :ermm: ... but when i thought about Tifa and Aeris fighting over a guy, that would screw up the whole story right? To me it's hard to imagine Aeris and Tifa ever fighting since both of them are nice.
