Firt of all, who it was posible to cait to know that aeris payed the other with dates?? ( like the date of cloud for example)

Maybe because he had see the two of them ( aeris and cloud) in gold saucer??

And, apart of this, why he asked her a date? he liked her? reeve liked aeris?

when cait says goodbye , aeris say to him to be strong and cait will think:

why is he happy if aeris meant nothing to him?

Well, its possible that Reeve may had a liking to Aerith.

Well, I always thought that he was teasing Aerith into a date. He did met Cloud and Aerith and they had to chase him around Gold Saucer. But then, that also depends who Cloud is on the date with since its also possible for him to go with Yuffie, Tifa, etc. Still, I do agree that the "real" date that Cloud had was with Aerith, regardless of the dating mech.

Actually, I thought this was really heart-warming. Cait Sith was considered a traitor and he wanted to do something to redeem for his actions. Aerith encouraged him to be strong, regardless of his past actions. I believe he was happy to know that people still care and this gave him the strength to continue with his duty.

No, I don't think so. Most probably he liked her as a person, like the rest of the group did, except Cloud (for some important for us, Cloriths, reasons :P ). Because after that line he didn't show any interest in her.

I think he was happy in that scene because he had finally found a person that was able to believe in him. He was a spy, after all, and Aerith phrase made him happy just because she was the only one to support him.

yes, is rare. The date about cloud and aeris was something the group didnt knew, but remember that the aeris date is not the only one...cloud could have go with tifa, yuufie or barret. And he will still say the same, so.. :no:

Interesting, I had never thought Reeve liking Aerith in that way. I mean if Reeve wanted a date from her, it's obvious that he liked her a little bit. It's kind of cute to think about Reeve having a crush on her, or maybe Reeve was acting that way because he's comfortable with Aerith's forgiving/kind personality.

I remember somebody saying when Aerith died Caith Sith did a dance....... they said he was probably trying to cheer everyone up but a dance......

Cait Sith attempted his usual little dance to cheer everyone up, but failed and sagged down looking extremely sad. So, anyone who says Cait Sith danced when Aerith died is only telling half-truths.

Reeve as a general rule was neutral. He cared about his friends honestly but I don't think he had a thing for Aeris. He was a middle aged company exec who wanted to change things. (Shown in the scene where he is talking to Pres. Shinra) Yet, he still continues to work at Shinra. Guess he needs to make a living some how. (Maybe he has a family? Who knows!) My point is that he saw Aeris as a companion but because he was so neutral, in the shadows, and out of the way he couldn't have fallen for her.

when aeris died cait sith looks at cloud, and he tried to cheer him up , moving his hands and " dancing".but cloud donts move so cait, very sad, he goes...

Yeah, I remember Cait Sith doing that dance. I thought it was kinda cute. (Okay, that's just me) But, he was trying to cheer Cloud up, just that it didn't work. I guess that was his way of trying to cope with Aerith's death.

Well, its possible. But, I don't think he would joke when he's about to sacrifice himself. Aeris asked for a reading and I guess that's the only thing Cait Sith is good at. But, when you think about it, friends can also go out and that can be considered as a date. Maybe when everything was over, Cait Sith (Reeve) could gone out as friends for coffee or something. I guess it can be implied as something like this...... :unsure:

It's been reveal that Reeve does have a family, since Case of Denzel shows it. From what I remember, it's his mother.


Also, I don't think much about their exchange. Just maybe some teasing and then how touched Cait Sith was by Aerith's words, especially after what he did.

I know about his mother, Pyra. What I ment was if he had a wife and children.
