I've been looking for a few Cloud fansites for a while now and I've found some good ones. But I've realized something distrubing in most, if not all of them. For some crazy reason I get the feeling that these sites are slightly (or maybe not so slightly) pro Cloti.

Now even though I'm a Cleris, when I go to a site that's purely about CLOUD, I expect some degree of objectiveness when it comes to Cloud's love life. Most of these sites I went to are clever enough not to come right out and tell readers their pairing of choice, but one can definitely see the bias when discussing the role of both women in Cloud's life. I don't want to name the sites themselves (cuz I'm partly afraid the site's owner might for some reason read this post and bitch at me - though it seems unlikely judging by all that I've just said but I just wanna be careful). But there are quite a few that suggest that Tifa and Cloud's relationship is much more special and evolved than Aeris, who they simply describe as Cloud's 'guide' or 'gaurdian angel'.

Hell, even the Cloud community on livejournal,Cloud Smiles, is made up of lots of people who came over from the Cloti lj community.

Please, somebody tell me - is there any Cloud site out there that has actually remained objective (and particularly a little less biased towards Cloti)?

I hafta say it was hard to find a cloud shrine for me period or im missing somethin but there are more tifa yuffie adn aeris sites then there are cloud sites how pitiful lol

I loved Wolkenstreit back when edea.nu was still around. The webmistress was the same girl who owned Breath of the Earth, one of the best Aerith shrines in existence. Both of them are gone now, but they were really awesome shrines. Wolkenstreit wasn't neutral exactly - it was more CxA biased, but naturally I enjoyed that aspect of it. ;)

But anyway, I agree that most Cloud shrines seem to favour Cloud x Tifa since AC was released. I can understand how you feel, Nyrin, but each to their own. Everyone's gonna have their own unique interpretation about Aerith's role in Cloud's life, and what she means to him. Besides, I'd rather read the webmistresses' real opinion than a watered down version so as not to offend pairing fans.

I wonder who would want to make a Cloud fansite. He's way too emo for my taste. He needs to be more like Zidane and take a look on the bright side of things.

I have to say right now that if Cloud were anything like Zidane, he would not be as popular as he is right now. Zidane kinda sucked and he was a player. Cloud could never be such a thing.

I've found most Cloud sites have been severely lacking in the actual area of Cloud himself and I find it disgusting. They make them out to be an advertisement of the couple they themselves enjoy. I have had a Cloud shrine for a while, but since I have not had the time to update, it's been asleep. But I'll be updating again once I move which will be quite soon.
