What It's About

James and Mary are the main couple in the survival horror game Silent Hill 2 and their marriage is deliciosly cleris-esque. They were happily married for a number of years until Mary fell ill. She became angry and unpleasant to look at and was soon to die. James, wishing not to watch his wife suffer any longer, smothered her with a pillow. But James' guilt followed him. What was only a week felt three years to him and then one day he recieves a letter from Mary beckoning him to Silent Hill.

This club is also rather anti-Maria, seeing to the fact that her mission the entire time is to lure James away from Mary. (Which she does if you get the Maria ending) Oh and I shall be the club...queen lady or what ever.

I like to join. James x Mary are one of my favorite couples. It's nice to see other fans of the pairing. Their story is so tragic yet, that's the reason why I like it so much.

Even though I like them to be together forever. I prefer the "Leave" ending a wee bit more over "In Water" Only because I like James so much, and now that he knows the truth and has Mary's forgiveness he can start healing and start over with Laura as his adoptive daughter just like Mary wanted.

But "In Water" has the whole "now we can be together for all eternity" tragic romance that I o' so like. XD Besides it seems to be the "canon" ending.

Poor Laura I wonder what happened her. T_T

I know what you mean. I like the Leave, Rebirth, and I admit the In Water. The quote on my name comes from the Rebirth ending. ^^ I hate the Maria ending though. Mostly 'cause that shows he's not with Mary any more. lol

I don't remember the Rebirth ending very well. It's been awhile since I obtained that ending, but I agree with the Maria ending! It's my least favorite ending for a number of reasons: First, James ends up with Maria. <_<

Second, Maria is sick so, James has to go through all that AGAIN.

Third, Mary is the final boss instead of Maria and I really don't like to think Mary as A bitter, jealous demon. :(

And finally James seems like he feels no remorse for what he did to Mary he just wants to move on with Maria; His "perfect woman"!

In Short that ending is plain WRONG. XD

Marionette you are the awesomeness! I love it! And you feel just like I do about the Maria ending! I have some JamesxMary fan art but it's too early in the morning right now for me to mess with meh scanner. XD

OK, I love SH, and I love either couples. I think its really sweet that James went looking for her, even thought he knew she was dead.... :heart: Can I please??
