Does everyone remember this? I just read an article on AOL about the guy who did the videotape. Believe it or not, he's been invited to speak on The Today Show and he was interviewed by Diane Sawyer on "Good Morning America" about the tape. The tape has been broadcast on CNN and VH1, and he's been called by the New York Times for an interview about it.

The article says that Gary Brolsma (a 19 year old from Saddle Brook, New Jersey) "perform[ed] a lip-synced version of "Dragostea Din Tei," a Romanian pop tune, which roughly translates to "Love From the Linden Trees." He not only mouthed the words, he bounced along in what he called the "Numa Numa Dance" - an arm-flailing, eyebrow-cocked performance executed without ever once leaving the chair. In December, the Web site newgrounds.com, a clearinghouse for online videos and animation, placed a link to Mr. Brolsma on its home page and, soon, there was a river of attention."

According to the article, Gary is depressed and sick of all the attention that he's been getting because of the tape. He just stays to himself inside the house. He's sorry at this point that he ever made the tape.

You can find the article about it here: Numa Numa Dance

For some reason, I can think of someone creating a badger equivalent of this, and making the badgers do the weird dance. And then they could be chanting, "Numa numa, numa numa, numa numa, numa numa!!!"
