Title: Some Thoughts
Description: Regarding Aerith's presence

Well, I happened to watch AC again, just that this time I was trying to pay more attention to everything. Anyways, after watching the whole movie again, I remmebered one thing that was said in the game (in Mideel), refering to Cloud being saved from the Lifestream:

"That boy must have one powerful guardin angel watchin' over him"

The fact is, that the same story was repeated many times again in AC, like amost every time he gets his Geostigma attacks, or in the fight against Bahamut or against Kadaj, she also cured him of Geostigma.

It's not that I'm saying that this is proof for anything. I just thought of it and wanted to share.

Yeah, I've always thought that Aerith was the guardian angel that was mentioned there. It was nice to see her take on that role for Cloud in AC, knowing that she was there to protect and help him whenever he was in trouble.

Also, I remember that Nomura said that the angel statue stood for many interpretations, like hope, etc... I remember that right after Cloud recovered from fainting at the church, he was staring outside the window, and if I rememeber correctly the angel statue was shown at this moment. I think that might be a way of showing that Aerith is watching over them (especially for Cloud), therefore it might be another interpretation.

What a beautiful quote.

Right off the bat in AC when I saw Cloud gazing at the statue, and then his head dropped.. almost in shame. I knew he was thinking of her.

I so agree with the statue representing Aerith by the scene mentioned above, and then when you see the stature looking ot over Midgar and the people below. It kinda gave me chills to think that Aerith is doing that same thing. Another thing that alerts us to Aerith's presence is that bit where Tifa looks up at the water droplet and says something to the effect of "Somehow I knew you were here." A sweet little moment there for the Aerith Tifa friendship
