I was watching a Japanese drama series called "Hana Yori Dango", and sort of fell in love with one of Otsuka Ai's song, Planetarium. I liked it so much, I went and watched her music video...and after watching it and seeing how Clerisy it was, it inspired me to do a little music video using the shortened version of that song for you guys.

There were many portrayals of water, flowers, clouds, fireworks, stars, a park...and it even contained a bit of "Calling". I'll let you guys decide for yourselves...

I didn't do anything special with this music video, just something I did for fun to kind of compare it with Otsuka's music video. I think I took more time adding in the subs than I did with the video itself. :giggle:

The song is so lovely. I didn't watch her MV, but I love the song -- do you happen to have a full mp3 of it??

This would now have to be lined up as my second favourite Cleris MV ever - right next to Eternally. ^_^

I waited a while for the YouTube video to load, but I'm so thankful I did. So many Cleris parallels, in not just the lyrics but the video as well! :wub: The part where Otsuka is lying on her back on a bed of stars, and the camera slowly pans up really reminded me of when we watched Aerith slowly sink to the bottom of the lake. :cray:

I especially loved how you mirrored the final bit of Aerith turning around with the PV!

I also REALLY loved the part where she sings "make a wish" and it's followed up by Cloud's lips moving silently. That just seemed to fit so perfectly. :wub: :wub:

Oh man...I guess I kind of took for granted that I've got roadrunner, and so I didn't realize it would take those of you poor souls who are without cable internet forever to watch something on youtube. *gives Lynn pink cookies for having taken the time to wait around for Otsuka's music video to load*

The funny thing is, I thought that scene reminded me of both Cloud and Aerith. The part where she was floating on top of the water reminded of Aerith...but when she was floating in the air above the heavens, it reminded me slightly of Cloud after his fall in battle. I guess that's why I threw Cloud's scene in instead of Aerith's.

The first time I watched her music video, I thought it was so Clerisy...but what really got to me was the whole ending where she's waiting at the park with her back to the camera. When she sensed something and turned around I was like "OMGTHECALLINGSCENE". :giggle:

When I made the music video, I think I was looking at it from Cloud's perspective...but I think it could have worked from Aerith's as well. Anyhow, glad you liked it.
