Good grief, would it really kill SE to include Aerith in the character list for once? :lmao: They even have Sephiroth and Zack on there, for crying out loud! Poor Red as well as the WCM have also been left out.

:no: Yes, that sucks. I remember someone who saw AC by the way and played the game before. He didn't really like the movie ( good graphics but boring movie with strange battle scenes... it's his opinion but I must say I think the same about some useless and ridiculous battles and not enough storyline, and really good graphics *I just really love Tifa battle scene, Aerith*and Cloud* scenes, Kadaj death, the symbolims, the japanese voice acting, some musics and the whole ending* )... but he through Aerith presence was just meant to please the fans ( Sephiroth appearance as well ) and nothing more.

Wrong ! When you really look at the story of the movie ( which is really short *20 minutes if I remember what Nomura said*, so we have a lot of battles ), you realize Aerith is everywhere ( in light, angel statue ?, flowers, music, water, in spirit... well even if we don't see her face often, we see and hear her a lot thanks to these things... a lot more than half of the other characters beside Cloud or Tifa... ). She helps Cloud a lot, stays with him in spirit (a lot more I think than an alive Tifa), and helps the others as well.

She saved Cloud, she saved Kadaj soul, she saved the world again and healed the people. The last place shown is her church, the last character speaking to Cloud about his life and happiness is her... Cloud Smiles, the last music before the credit is even composed with her theme ( and a part of her theme is in the credit too ).

Above all, we know what the story is all about : "someone" sends a message to Cloud... Aerith is obviously pretty involved in the story :whistle: . So, it bugs me that she's not considered as important by some people, it irritates me that her name isn't shown at first with Cloud and Tifa's names in the credits ( well, I guess the reason is because she's dead but still... ) and it sucks a little if she's not in the website ( a little because Aerith role was meant to be a spoiler when AC wasn't released yet... and spoilers are usually bad ).

Aerith's name isn't on the Japanese or US AC sites either so don't feel too bad. What a shame... :( Anyway, in my opinion Aerith's the heroine of AC (cause of connection to the plot and to Cloud) but since Tifa has the sceen time during the movie and since her name is immediately after Cloud's, people assume she's the heroine.

I honestly think it makes Aerith stick out more. :lol: I mean, EVERY character is listed there--even ZACK and SEPHIROTH, but the one woman who is of incredible significance in the movie? I personally don't think it's because she's not as important as the others. Maybe it's quite the opposite... (just a guess...) :dunno:

Its only because tifa has more screentime that she is listed right after Cloud. If cloti's make a big deal with that, then the game manual shows Aerith right after Cloud.
