I think I about went into cardiac arrest when I heard this. Oh. My. God. Steve and Mena pulled off some miracles, once again. Even though it's probably about half the length, the emotional impact of this scene hits me about twice as hard as Cloud and Aerith's conversation in KH2. It's absolutely gorgeous. :fangirl:

I saw it and it was ok, I didn't like that they didn't add the giggle when Aerith says by who.

Mena does an excellent job in that scene. I love how her voice is the perfect tone. I HATE utterly girly voices. Hers is just the right pitch. Mandy Moore can officially shove it.

Steve's job is a little lacking in my opinion. But there's me being overly protective of Cloud's outward emotions and how they're portrayed.

And I just have to get this out... I swear to God, I WILL have Steve Blum's babies someday. He made Spike Spiegel so damn memorable... I cannot contain my utter EXCITEMENT over him doing Vincent's voice. Someone at Square loves me enough to satisfy me in every meaning of the word.

omg that was liek the best part out of the whole movie the movie :huggle: i was pretty proud of mena in her three last lines that girl is growin up :)

M'kay, my despise/hateness of Mena is starting to melt away. I really liked her in this scene, I think she'll be able to pull this off! :) (I still prefer Mandy though)

I still wasn't all that impressed, I don't know I guess the japanese voices have spoiled me.

If you watch it without comparing to Japanese, and just enjoy, I guarantee you'll be a much happier Cleris! I hated Mandy Moore as Aerith to be honest, so to see Mena doing good really perks me up a lot! Just because she doesn't giggle doesn't mean you have to hate it, it's just a little different. To me it was more like she was teasing him a bit here.

When I heard the whole "More than anything", I nearly danced around the room! Ok I did dance a little... I couldn't help it! The way it was said was great for me, it wasn't overdone, and almost like he was a little hesitant to let her know just how much her forgiveness meant. I could go on and on with how I loved every Clerisy moment, but I'll spare you having to read through it! :razz:

It's less echoy than the other one, the voices are alot clearer, and you don't hear any of the movement sounds like someone's adjusting it.

:sad: I'm going to cry. I was a little wary of Mena Suvari playing Aeris yet again because she was extremely flat with Aeris in KHII but she was great in this scene. Light, a little teasing voice, still a bit flat but overall it works. I want to buy the english version now even though I have a ripped jap version. XD

yeah, i agree. I didnt like Mena's voice at all for Aerith..... i was disappointed. But what am i gonna do about it? <_< OH, well.

Yeah, I was so glad to hear that he was doing the voice for Vincent :P , because I loved his work as Spike on CB.

Mena did an okay job, but something was lacking in her voice. I still prefer Maaya but it's still a good scene. :)
