Mine, is and always is Nina Williams!!! Love her and Anna. Their just so damn bad ass! Not to mention totally hot! :D But, Nina has always been my fav. Ever since i layed my little eyes on that game, i always loved Nina. Her outfits, hair, attitude..... just so damn cool! :P

With overall technique, I say Jin. I love pulling off combos with this guy. It gave me blisters once. Hahahahahaha. I kind of like his story too. The whole "family drama" thing is very interesting to me XD. And when he turns to Devil Jin. Augh! The FUN NEVER STOPS! :fist:. Kazuya is just a clone to me...Hahahaha.

Baek too. He's got some wicked ass (Excuse my language, please) combos you can do with him.

Jun. I've always pwned with Jun. And then when she wasn't there, it was either Xiaoyu (nice combos, even if she is exceptionally weak :cry: ). With Tekken 5, Asuka was my new ass-whooper. Second to her is Christie.

Anyone else get the fifth game and get addicted to the arcade mode so you could earn money to put wings on the girls? XD

Oddly enough, Tekken 5 seems to leave an opening for Jin/Asuka, though since I don't know enough of the history of Tekken, I can't say for sure. There's a lot of controversy surrounding it though because there is definitely more to Asuka than meets the eye. I'm not sold on Jin/Asuka yet (though the ending was hilarious!), but it's not looking too good for Jin/Xiaoyu shippers at all, I'm afraid. :no:

As for characters with wings, I think the only other one is Christie. Anna might have wings, but I could be confused. I think she only has a devil's tail option or something. But yeah, Xiaoyu gets fluffy wings and Christie gets butterfly wings. I'm so fond of the butterfly wings, they look AWESOME.

There are a few characters that do not have extra costumes, but I can't remember who they are. I'm certain all the girls do though. With the exception of Christie, whose other costume is apparently Eddie Gordo. Which is scary. O_O

i think they're related somehow.. like cousins.. ^_^ and the reason why she was able to heal him was 'cuz she had jun's blood in her? i dunno... :unsure:

they're not gonna let her win anyway.. XD and i doubt they'd remove jin's devil genes just like that.. i bet he has a more dramatic ending... (i just hope he doesn't die... and i hope that he ends up with xiao... and i also hope that xiao doesn't die -- i doubt she will 'cuz she's such a happy character :P )

Ive ben playing Tekken for many years and have beaten many boys and girls at this game for 3 yrs. running :winner:.

First off from Tekken 2, I love Jun Kazama. I love her personality and looks. She's charming, pure and peaceful. Her fighting style is cool and is popular among the Kazamas and other friends. :wub: :fangirl: :fangirl:

My next is From Tekken 3-5, is Ling Xiaoyu. My most dangerous, but champion winning player. Even though I use everyone *ahem*. Her moves are the easiest to perform and she's a very spunky type of girl with a really child-like personality. The only thing I dont like about her is that she needs to grow up :rolleyes:.

Is anyone here a big fan of the tekken couples? If so, here are mine:

Jin and Asuka are mostly cousins or brother/sister. Or they are just from different sides of the Kazama's. The #1 rumor thats going around is that Asuka is the reincarnation of Jun Kazama. I wouldnt say yes, I wouldnt say no. But then you have Unknown from Tekken Tag Tournament (for those of you who have played it). If you havent noticed, Unknown shares a Black Emblem tattoo on her arm, just like Jin and Jun. This is a mind teaser to give you something to think about.

I feel the same as you daydreamer. I think Anna is a bit more slower than Nina when it comes to performing her moves. I really dont like her because she's a slut <_< .....(No offense to Anna fans)

I love these two :lust:. Im a huge fan of the Brazilian Martial arts, Capoeira. Of course Eddy's cool. I just wish they'd show more of him. Tiger's also okay. Its just that huge afro!!!! :lmao: Makes me think about reliving the 70's :lol:.

For the girls, I can kick supreme amounts of ass with Xiaoyu, Asuka, and Jun. Xiaoyu was the first character I got to Tekken Lord rank in T5, I just love fighting as her. She's awesome. In Tekken Tag Tournament I used to team Xiaoyu and Jun and demolish everyone.

For the guys, Jin used to be my favourite, but now it's Hwoarang for the win. Cocky characters like him have always appealed to me. I loved Baek's T5 ending with Hwoarang, and Hwoarang's T4 ending with Jin. One thing I was especially glad about in T5 was how they turned Hwoarang back into a hottie again. In T4 his pic was... eeh. And the voice... Nasty. Namco made up for it with the Dark Resurrection CG of him though. :lust:

Other than Hwoarang, Kazuya and Bryan are my characters of choice when I need to vent anger by pummeling someone.

Pairings? When I was a bigger Jin fan I was all about the Jin/Xiaoyu. I still am, but I prefer Hwoarang/Xiaoyu now. I like Miharu/Hwoarang after reading a great fanfic about them. Jun/Kazuya are the ultimate dark/light pairing.

I wasn't really getting into Tekken 4 all that much. The thing I dont like with Tekken is the graphic switching with the characters. I mean its cool, but its sometimes annonying.

I once saw that Tekken 6 is coming out in Nov/Dec 2006/2007 on the PS3. No fair! PS3's are way too expensive. They have a new girl called Lili Kazama and some other character. I got this from Wikipedia (if thats how you spell it). There's a piccie of Tekken 6's Jin Kazama in my siggie.

i think dark resurrection is kind of like a better tekken 5 with extra characters.. :ermm:

Yeah, lalagirl's right. Dark Resurrection is basically Tekken 5 with two extra characters; Lilli and Dragunov, and more customise items to play with. You can also change the characters' hair colours and customise the special costumes, which you couldn't do in Tekken 5. Plus, we get whole new CG pics of the characters.

Lemme just say that Devil Jin and Hwoarang looks really sexy :lust:. Xiaoyu's outfit is gorgeous. Ans so is Anna! I think Asuka is still the same, just a different color outfit. But she's still cool!

Lili does look like a spoiled rich girl. For some reason I think she looks like someone who could be Nina's daughter.

Umm, I'm lost. Are we talking about couples or the actual characters and our favourite? Well, If we're talking about couples, I don't really support anyone with anyone. Although, when I was younger I liked the idea of Jin and Jun...untill I found out that Jun is his mother. :lmao:. I freaked out...ever since then I never really supported any Tekken pairings.

Oh yes, I also use Hwoarang. Him and Jin was always my team (Also Jin and Jun) in Tekken Tag Team. Anyone else played that? Well, if anyone did, TEKKEN BOWL IZ TEH GREATIZT!

I think my favourite characters would have to be Asuka (she's just so cool), Ling Xiaoyu (very small and fast!!), Lei (...reminds me alot of Jackie Chan...) and Ganryu (the sumo...I like sumos...They make me giggle...).

I noticed that Nina got cooler and cooler throughout the games. I never used to like her, but when i played tekken 5, i realised that she is actually quite cool. She's an assassin, right? And her moves are pretty god. Better than i expected.

My favorite is Anna! I like her because I know most of her moves! She also is very good and pretty! :D

ha-ha. Yeah, that's the best reason to like a character. I know most of Ling Xiouyu's moves. That's why i fight with her the most...I'm trying to learn Asuka's moves, because she's so cool!! And i noticed something the other day. I was looking at the character profiles in the book of tekken 5, and Asuka's last name is Kazama...Is she related to Jin and Jun? :o

Well, to tell you the truth, at first in the opening, I thought Asuka would be like a totally cute girl, but was I wrong. She should hook up with Hwoarang, they seem to be perfect for each other. :giggle:

Actually, I think Jin and Xiaoyu are more like Jun and Kazuya. here's a comparison between Kazuya and Jin:

Kazuya: Son of Kazume and Heihachi Mishima. Kazume died when Kazuya was little. After Heihachi was basically abusing Kazuya to test his strength and to see if he was worthy of being his son. As a result, Heihachi threw Kazuya off of a cliff. (Just like in the Tekken Movie!!) Heihachi never embraced his son not one time, not even giving him fatherly care.

Because of this Kazuya grew up hating his father and sided with Devil, in hopes of gaining power to kill him once and for all. His heart was filled with nothing but hatred and evil....

Jun: A woman of purity, grace, and beauty, who lives in the heart of Yakushima forest. Jun met Kazuya when she was little and befriended with him. Jun mostly had visions of Kazuya childhood past and tried to free him from the Devil. (Sorry if Im skipping details but Im trying to get to the point)

Really Jun fell in love with Kazuya and had Jin several years later. When Jin was fifteen Jun had died. Afterwards Kazuya had returned in Tekken 4 and heard that Jun was dead. Once he heard that, Kazuya was lost and Devil had completely taken over him since then.

And now Jin is growing up hating Kazuya still becasue of his reason thinking Kazuya raped Jun or just left her to die against Ogre.

So here comes Xiaoyu, cherful, playful and very childish but optimistic. At first she was focusing on her goal to build her amusment park, but once she found out the news of the Devil gene with Jin and Kazuya, and about the Mishima History, Xiaoyu is becoming more involved with jin's personal business determined to help him.


Yus ee where all of this is going right? Its like Xiaoyu is trying to take Jun's place as the chosen one. Sooner or later Xiaoyu will come face to face with Devil, hopefully not to meet her doom.

I've played T5 over and over again with Hwoarang :D I think I'm in love with him! :fangirl: He is just so cute when he's around Baek, he really respects and cares for his Master, and I think that's so sweet. ^_^
The rivalry between him and Jin is kinda funny too. Even if he defeats Jin, he wants him to feel bad from losing to him. :giggle: I don't think Jin has that much of a problem with Hwoarang, he just probably gets really annoyed with him at times.
I've played the game a few times with Asuka too, and I stand my ground.

I agree.. Beside Baek is getting so old. He wont be around for Hwoarang forever. Unless if Namco does so :D. And this is becuase Hwoarang shows his sensitive side :wub:.

I find the rivalry between Jin and Hwoarang funny as well. But I think of them more as friendly rivals :battle:. All Hwoarang is doing is pestering him, which is wasting Jin's time with taking care of his business.
Asuka and Hwoarang are two bad-asses and thats why they make such a cute couple. They're always up for a fight.

You know who I really like...Kazuya! He's so evil :evil:, but to me he's still sexy. He may be controlled by Devil but he's still hot! :drool: :lmao:...Slap me if Im crazy!

I thought Kazuya was really really cute in his ending ^_^ that is, right before he turned evil again......

Well, Asuka's is more like Jin's cousin/sister. For one, she's way too young to be Jin's girlfriend. She's only 17.

What may have happened was that Xiaoyu had went back in time to save the Mishima history and then Kazuya ended up getting Jun preggie AGAIN with Asuka.

But that's what I wished have happened. But I want to know who is Asuka's father.
