Big in Japan – stats and facts

The game is so big in Japan that launch day queues stretch three tube stops – the equivalent of Marble Arch to Tottenham Court Road

In Japan Dragon Quest release dates coincide with public holidays to stop people taking days off school and work

Dragon Quest: The Journey of the Cursed King sold a staggering three million copies in three days in Japan

Best Regards,

The SQUARE ENIX team.

They've never done something for FF in the UK. I guess its to celebrate the first release of the most famous RPG in Japan of finally getting to be in Europe. Too bad I live so far away from London, take me about 7 hours to get there  But all of this stuff sounds cool.

I'm also getting a DQVIII demo disc from an email I got yesterday from SE so yay for me! ^_^

Wow. Are they talking exclusively about DQVIII? Or the whole series? Either way, it's still very impressive. I've always heard that DQ generally towers over FF in the home market of Japan.

OMG. Real life Puff Puff girls! :lmao:

Hmm, London's not too far away from where my cousins live... Although they're not big RPG fans, for shame! So they probably won't be attending the launch anyway.
