Well I figured a lot of people miss they're old sigs, but don't wanna get rid of their new ones....so I made this thread....

Any old sigs/avatars that you miss post them here! (You don't have to post them all at once though ^_^)

Well.....The sigs I have now are the ones I've always had...so....^_^ Who's going to start?

Hey, how'd I miss this thread?!

I don't make sigs/avatars regularly so I didn't bother getting a thread at the Graphics forum (where all you hardcore graphics people hang out :P), so this is the perfect thread for me. XD All sigs made using Adobe Photoshop 5.0, various self-made simple brushes and a couple of downloaded fonts.

The list is from oldest to most recent:


[Naruto] This was my very first sig, created for a Naruto forum. It's pretty drab overall, and I now loathe the size I'd used for the banner... But I still like the caption. :lol: *huggles ye nin-dogs*


[FFVII] My first banner at ACF, initially created for myself but later used for the club, Beau-TAY. Again, loathe the banner size, but the fanart I used and the caption remains one of my favourites. The caption was changed slightly from a write-up I found about women's beauty on the Internet.


[FFVII] A sig I made for Shin CZ at ACF, for the Yuffentine club, Sunshine In Winter. Although I'm not an actual fan of the pairing, it was still a pretty fanart to use. ^^ I suck at backgrounds. :sad:


[FFVII] Second Beau-TAY sig, and this is when I start using a banner size I actually like. :lol: I've always loved the fanart I used in this sig, so when someone posted it at the Beau-TAY club, I immediately needed to sig it. XD


[FFVII] Made for the ACF club, R-U-F-U-S for... well, worshipping the godliness that is Rufus Shinra. ^^ Quote comes from how Aerith describes Rufus in the Shinra building-- it had such a chilling feel that people often think she was describing Sephiroth!

And that's it for sigs! Feel free to comment (I know I definitely need to improve on backgrounds... *wants to do those neat grungy backgrounds that are all the rage these days!*). But please be kind, I have a fragile ego to rival Cloud's.

I just recently got into the Yuffentine pairing ---the fic Sunshine in Winter blew me away---so your Yuffentine siggy is my favorite! I love the blueness and fluffiness of it.
I like the fanart you used for your Rufus sig too! And the beau-TAY sigs are just that...beautiful.
I haven't seen Naruto though, so the only thing I can say bout the dog sig is...I like the pawprints :P
Nothing's wrong with your backgrounds, I like their simplicity!

My first sig for this forum, made by CG. The words on it, I snitched from this poem-fic. Matching avvy, I got from...uh, forgot the name of the site, but it was an avvy site



I asked Sinclair to make two RK sigs 'cause I was obsessed with Kenshin/Tomoe at that time. Still am, actually. And she made two only-slightly-different Kenshin avvys to match!




Prolly my favorite of the lot, these were made by Cloud's Girl, at the nadir of my fascination for Seifer/Quistis. Lovely, aren't they?

Ah, Lynn! I was wondering who made that gorgeous Rufus Siggy!! :lust:

My skills are very... unstable? Sometimes the siggy that I make rocks, then another one looks so disgusting that I clean myself and the computer. But i'm getting there. I use Jasc Paintshop Pro 8, which I have grown to love. But I really want Adobe Photoshop, for the animation program. ^_^

I was really proud of myself when I made this. :wub: I used the premade brushes that were on my PSP, and made this lovely RufusxTifa siggy. The words are from Tifa Lockheart's Stigmatized Website.

YAY, MEH BUTTERFLY SIG!! :dance: I loved this one, so much, I never wanted to change it. But in the end, I made a better one, or somehting like that, but this one will hold a special place in my heart.



I was crazy about techno and stuff, so I used alot of white and tech brushes. ^_^ Made for myself at ACF.






Made these not long ago, I started to use the silkscreen font alot. I love it. Pixel fonts are prolly my favourite. ^_^ I was starting to go for the block/ ethereal effect then, too.




I had lotsa compliments with this one!! :dance: I really liked how this one turned out, and I loved the fanart that I used. Sort of autumn, very pretty, and I made up the lyrics myself. I usually do that. I was also starting to do overlays again.



Transparency is the poweh!!! I loved using the transparent stuff, I used alot.

Then there's this one and the one I'm using now. :)

Modified Version
The link is the 'modified' version of it. My cousin said the first one looked too blank, so I added some quotes in the second one. (makes it look too cluttered though) Personally, I prefer the original.
