Square Enix has signed with Microsoft to bring its amazing mix of Final Fantasy and Disney to the Xbox 360.

The Xbox 360 version of Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2 will include the PS2 versions in their entirety aswell as a few bonuses.

The bonuses for KH will include several new optional boss fights at the Colosseum including Ruby Weapon(FFVII), Bahamut, and Edea(FFVIII).

The bonuses in KH2 will include a side quest involving Cloud and Tifa, new Colosseum challenges and an online mode.

The game bundle will ship on May 15th.

Anyway, assuming this isn't a late April Fools' joke, I'm interested in seeing what this sidestory will be about. I find it baffling why they'd include something so FFVII-related into the Xbox version and not, say, the original platform KH/KH2 is from and the second generation of the platform on which FFVII was originally released.

Unless it was to boost Xbox sales/popularity. In which case-- damn backstabbers. <_<

But just looking at the release date (May 15th?! THAT close?), I can see why people would immediately assume it's a hoax.

No offense but you've got to be pretty stupid to be that they would just cut Aerith out of the two games. And it would upset many fans :lol:

This sounds very unbelievable...

For one thing, that date is wayyyy too soon. If they're going to put this on the XBox360, they'd have to update the graphics in the entire game to make it even look passable on the XBox360... on both games. This is a next-gen console, I better be able to count the individual strands of hair on Sora's spikey little head! Redoing the graphics would take... eh... forever??? Well, not forever, but not in time for that supposed release date. And by the time they're actually done, 98.9% of the population of gamers should have already played KH I&II on the PS2.

Sorry, but I don't want KH for the XBox360. I love Xbox dearly and all, but I'd rather keep my RPGs on my PS/2/3 and my FPSs on my XBox/360. Online mode? Eww... I can just imagine the perverted guy players asking random female players if they wanna cyber. :puke:

As for the Cloud and Tifa sidequest... since, I already think this whole KH on XBox is a lame hoax, I'm not worried. Plus, KHII already had a sidequest that involves Cloud and Tifa(and Sephiroth) and it didn't add anything 'cloti' unless you... think that Cloud constantly running away from Tifa and not accepting her light a proof of cloti-ness. :lmao:
