Title: Ffvii-tech Demo Ps3 Video *hi-res Ver. Available*
Description: Does anyone else have it?

~Fury Brand~ - March 30, 2006 02:33 PM (GMT)
Recently a magazine over here came with a dvd showing a collection of titles and demos as part as their PS3 coverage. One of the demos was the FFVII tech demo :fangirl: I got to see PS3 Aerith on my TV :aeris: :fangirl: :fangirl: :fangirl:
Oh and Cloud too :cloud:

Anyone else have this joy? *^_^*

Updated the title, hope you don't mind, FB! ~ Lynn

Well, I don't have the DVD version, but I did manage to download it when it first came out. The FFVII intro redone with Cloud and Aerith, right? Where SE horribly and sadistically cut her face off?

It was pure heaven for those few minutes. :lust: Cloud looked gorgeous and Aerith's dress was LOVE. I only have the Gamespot version with the ugly banner at the bottom, but it's still one of my most precious videos!

*remembered some Clotis being pricks over our squeeing* :giggle:

You're lucky, because I had to download it. But anyway, it was worth the time I've spent staring at my downloading manager. :fangirl:

Actually, we can see it, though from afar. <_< But she is gorgeous even if only a half of her face shown.
And Cloud is cool as always. But why couldn't he just jump from that train without any acrobatic tricks? Good ol' Cloud :)

Damn, that demo is on DVD somewhere? Must find. I had to download it, and it was such awful quality <_< . I would love to see the game redone in these graphics. But ONLY if they stayed true to the game, line for line (except for translation corrections -_- ).

That DVD came out with Dirge of Cerberus (as a bonus Disc). Most likely someone has uploaded it already, if you know how to download torrents, I'm sure you'll find it.

You live in Scotland aswell don't you FB? What magazine was this?

~Fury Brand~ - March 31, 2006 02:11 PM (GMT)
Hey Leon :D

It's called "Play" and for the footage they show on the video they call it "Play TV" :giggle:

*waves to everyone*

Yeah I saw the trailer on my computer before too, but I just had to see it on my TV too  It's like pretending you have a PS3 :giggle:

Watching it again ... I think I saw Barret in the trailer as well :o

I'm not sure if everyone's already gotten this version and I'm, like, the last dweeb on this planet who hasn't-- but I just found a gorgeous, hi-res version of the tech demo! :hyper:

You download it off FileFront here: http://files.filefront.com/Final+Fantasy+7...;/fileinfo.html.

It looks like it was ripped by FF7ACMovie.com, hence their watermark appears in the bottom-right corner of the black strip-- but hey, IT'S A HI-RES VERSION. I've got no complaints.

FB, just wondering, did your DVD version have the black strip on the top and bottom as well?

H....HI-RES!!! :hyper: I only have a really crap, low-quality version from Gamespot. Never knew there was a high res one!!!!

Thank you so much for the link, Lynn!!! *immediately downloads* :lust:

 Yep, I've been surviving all this time with the crappily tiny Gamespot version too! It's fine to satisfy the initial cravings, but OMG too small to make music videos with. >_<

Yay for FileFront. They sometimes give me terrible speeds, but they come through in terms of content.

[EDIT] If anybody wants it, I've created a version without the watermark (makes for prettier-looking music videos, IMHO). It can be download here: http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?acti...4B2FBC31814E967. It's a bit smaller size than the original file (around 10MB), but still pretty good.
