Alright in what seems to be a legit non-interpreted article from a cloti, "loveless" tifa shrine to be exact, it states that nomura himself prefers tifa's style of character more, and had always preferred tifa more. It also stated from his word that it was his idea to kill off aerith and replace her with tifa because she was not up to his standards for what clouds woman should be, as tifa is nomuras ideal woman, and cloud is an envision of himself. So would this detail that it was his idea to put cloud with tifa all along? Im not discrediting this cloti, but she didnt give any site link for the interview, so i just want the facts on this. If this is the case, I dont see why he would have had aerith as the original girl in the first designs. It also states that he designed squall off of cloud (easily noticable) and rinoa off of tifa (not so noticable aside from looks). so do tell what information you bring up about this. :cloud:

I've never heard of anything like that before and I've heard plenty to contradict it.

I really don't see the emergency, dude?/babe?. Anyways, a member in here (Velvy) told us, that she, a friend or an acquitance of hers, heard from Nomura himself that his favourite female character, was/is Aerith.

Regarding to the Aerith death thing, well it has been exaplined, over and over and over and OVER AGAIN, that things wasn't/aren't as some people (Clotis), claim them to be. It's a reaaallyyy long story to tell, and it has been disscussed in this forums, a million times. So, no need to fret about this, it's just rubbish.

As Clerith-son mentioned, Nomura was misquoted about Aerith's death. Nomura himself said in a later article that he had been misquoted, and he was quite upset about it. According to Nomura, the entire staff had decided that Aerith would die for one reason only, and that was because they felt that her death would have a greater impact on gamers than any other character.

We do have a source who tells us that Nomura was heard saying at a party that he prefers Aerith, although he also said during one interview that he doesn't have a thing for super-deformed females. :lmao:

So what you heard was only a rumor.
