I was wondering if anyone has ever played Shadow of the Colossus? I thought it was like a really good game!! The story was sooo touching, especially the ending....
Along with this game, Ico was great also!! Its a pity it didn't attract many people.... it was a super good game!!!
Has anyone played any of these games?
To make SOTC, it took a crew of only 20 people!? If you ask me, they did a damn good job! :D

Oooh Oooh! I've played Shadow of the Colossus! I think it was a really good game. I loved how the bosses were sooo huge! I only played it at my cousins house, though. I beat a Boss for one of my cousins. It was the one with the weird snake thing in the sand. Yess, yess~. It was a good game ^_^.

Paladin, have you ever played Ico? It has a connection with SOTC. SOTC was like a pre-sequal for Ico.

I've actually really, really wanted to play this game for a while now. Ditto with Ico, but wherever I go, I can't seem to find it! I've heard great things about both games however and I love their soundtracks. ^_^

Shadow Of the Colossus is a brilliant game! Really innovative and original. It sure as hell pushes the PS2's graphics engine beyond it's limit. My only gripe about it is that's it's really short and can be beaten in less than a day. But, despite that, it's a brilliant and challenging game.
If you haven't played it yet or check it out, SHAME ON YOU! Shame, shame, shame!!
...
SHAME!

I played it...and watched it being played. I couldn't get passed the first boss...
My friend got to the last one though...but she cant beat it...it's not supposed to turn around when you go underground but it does!! She cant get behind it to save her life!
I played a demo of ICO long ago...but I dont remember much of it...
BTW, if you cant find SOTC, check WalMart (if you have one nearby)...we've still got copies instore...

OK, I had started rambling on in a different thread about Ico and SOTC, so I'll continue here.
*SPOILERS*
If you've played both Ico and SOTC, you can tell right off the bat that these two stories connect. The ending of SOTC definately created the story of Ico. When that girl (can't remember her name) awoke, and found that baby with horns, it was obvious that THAT baby was the seed of the horned children. I'm sure that over time, the child must of escaped from the castle, and multiplied throught the land. But, as the legend said, horned children were to be taken to a castle, and put to rest there because of the curse they carried. The priest in SOTC did say that Dormin was evil. When the priest left the castle, and, destroyed the bridge, do you think that maybe the castle in Ico was the same castle in SOTC? But, it must have been thousands of years later, because the castle in ICO was surrounded by water. So, it must of taken thousands, maybe millions of years to age and fill with water.
Also, the girl from SOTC, could she possibly be the queen from Ico? Think about it. In order for the girl in SOTC to be brought back to life, Dormin had to enter her. I think that over time, she slowly became darkness herself. Dormin is darkness, correct? The Queen must be extremely old, if she was dying in Ico.
