I don't know about anyone here, but i simply Love Kuja from Final Fantasy 9! He is like sooo cool! And hes has such a sexy body shape, and i love his silver hair! My sister thinks hes ugly, but i think hes simply hot! :D :D

Anyone else here like him?

Hopefully this hasn't already been posted.....

If though no one has replied to this topic, I too think Kuja is indeed sexy :lust:.

For some reason I have this thing for silver-haired demons. But Kuja tops them all. Besides the feminine look, his Trance is even more sexually appealing :giggle:.

Haa! Kuja is my favorite FF character so far! Gotta love his over dramatic personality and his way of speaking. When I played the game I took 166 screenshots of him, that's gotta say something. I think I have an obsession over him. :P

I'm a Kuja fan too though the guy never gets enough respect! But I guess it's no surprise since he's not the "cool" kind like Sephiroth; my brother thought he was a girl the first time he saw him. But I never had doubts!

All his theatrics are amusing (I just like the way he talks, referencing knights and princesses and whatnot), plus he's a pretty tragic character. He wasn't really bad, just... disappointed that he was only a prototype and that Zidane was meant to replace him. He couldn't take it when he found out that he was just like those black mages that he created and discarded, so he tried to take the whole world with him knowing that he would die soon. It's sad...

Was anyone else expecting that sudden reversal at the end? I was surprised to see Kuja suddenly become good and nice to Zidane considering that he just tried to kill them not long ago.

No! I thought Zidane was going to leave with the team instead of saving Kuja in the Iifa Tree. But I guess he felt like it was the right thing to do since Kuja was kind of like his "brother".

And i still didnt get the relationship between him and Garland and Zidane.
Could someone explain? :ermm:

Yay! Kuja fan thread resurrected since March!! :fangirl:

I am actually replaying IX right now Carmen and when I get towards the end I'll edit and let you know my what my thoughts are on it. But I remember thinking that Kuja's story was tragic when I played it before.

As for his look, his look really doesn't do it for me personally but I thought he was a good villian and that he had depth to his character.

I mean by from what I posted on another thread just a few minutes ago. I think Kuja's story was reminding me of Sephiroth's abit:

My brother got mad and broke my game because I wouldnt let him play my FF games. I tried explaining it to him that it was not like a fighting game and it was RPG but he still didnt get it.

*Tekken and FF are the games I let NO ONE touch!!! :P*

Yeah I just read it  In my opinion something I have noticed is that if the villain's story could be considered tragic, many times they were used in a horrific way before they become the villain. It does seem many times tha scientific experiments are involved and then you could bring in the argument that the one who experimented is the truly evil one. Using your examples of Kuja and Sephiroth you could say that Garland and Hojo were the root of the evil in them and wee more evil then their creations.

I am not trying to excuse Kuja or Sephiroth. Actualy for me the ultimate evil act was done by Sephiroth because of the cruelity he showed *SPOILER* killing Aeris and how he messed with Cloud's mind so much.

But I think the tragic component of these villains make them more interesting because you may feel a certain sadness for their fate. Does that make sense?
*Spoiler*
Another example I would use is Edea vs. Ultimacia, I liked Edea more as a villain because of the mystery behind her and then finding out she was being used by Ultimacia. Where Ultimacia herself had the similiar goals of creating a world for just herself.

Okay I went on and on there I apologize. Getting back to Kuja, I liked how he used other people's weaknesses towards his own purpose, and how he seemed to enoy watching the process of his scheme fall into place, as he did with Queen Brahne. Using her own greed to destroy herself and using that to his own advantage.

*sighs* Another reason why I love Kuja so much. He sounds like me on my darker side . Well, now I get it! Thanks aerisbolt again! :huggle:

Wait a minute Wait a minute! Did you say just started Disc 3?! :woot: Are you on the part when Alexandria was under attack?! That was the best part of the game!

aerisbolt - July 26, 2006 05:52 PM (GMT)
You're welcome Carmen :huggle: No I haven't gotten that far yet, I am just at the beginning of the disk in Alexandria with just cute lil Vivi.
