Title: What Makes You Shiver With Fear?
Description: anything that you fear most!
goddess_in_pink07 - March 13, 2006 08:41 PM (GMT)
If you don't mind, and i'm praying that this hasn't already been posted. I probly should go threw ALL 16 pages, but i really don't want to.
Anyways, what things, places, or people make you shiver with fear?
For me needles are so scary! I hate needles so bad! I just hate the thought of a long, cold, metal, needle going into you skin..... Guhhhhh...... :(
As for places, i really don't appreciate going to the doctors of dentists! Doctors especially! If you ask me, they get a little to touchy! Thats their job to help you, but still....
Dentists i don't like either. When i was like 11, i got a cavity and so they had to numb my mouth, and they used a needle! It hurt soooo much! I cried my eyes out it hurt so bad.... i think thats where i get a bad experience with needles.

Well...I fear with all my heart dolls. They are evil little creatures with big scary eyes and a murderious look.
Ahem...Sorry for that, but that's what I think. I may sound crazy, but...I think I'm sane.
But...I've been scared of dolls almost all my life. My big sister tried to make me play with dolls, but I refused to. And it didn't help at all that my big brother and both big sisters told me horror stories of dolls when I was...Umm...About 4-7? I'm not sure.
I'm also afraid of fast movements. I don't know where that came. But almost always when somebody (for example) "walks" two steps very fast, I'll get freaked out.
i pRomiSe** - March 13, 2006 09:35 PM (GMT)
Of the many things that make me shiver, I'll name only some. Clowns, blood and something else I just forgot. Lol. Oh yeah, those big scary, Porcelain dolls. Freaky dude. Big eyes, big head, small mouth. It's like one of those dolls that can come out at night and stab you. It's scary.
And something else that happened last night. Lets not get into that.
And scary movies. The Hills Have Eyes is one example. Wow, that was scary. That deformed, mutated, weird girl... D:
Paladin's Heart - March 13, 2006 11:18 PM (GMT)
What I think is really scary is Exorcisms. Yes, I do believe in them. I think they're reaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllyyyyyy scary! Being all posessed and suddenly having all those cuts all over your body. And doing things to people that are really horrible! And the thought of whos posessing you...is...oh my!
-runs in fear-
ladystrife - March 14, 2006 12:19 AM (GMT)
Clowns are my worst fears in the world if any1 has seen a movie called IT OMG!! i started crying it  i hate them sooo much  i also hate spiders ooo *quick shiver* :P
Jazzabsurdity - March 14, 2006 03:29 AM (GMT)
Knowing that I will be alone forever. Closets are scary too : /. -shivers- So are bugs xP
Kaldea - March 14, 2006 03:35 AM (GMT)
n00bs, serious internet slang and crap grammar. Self explanitory there.
Real_Emotion - March 14, 2006 03:35 AM (GMT)
Bugs. Gross icky bugs. I don't care if it's a freakin' butterfly or a harmless ladybug. All types of insects freak me out. :worry: If there is a bug near me, I will start screaming and run around like an idiot.
Oh, and I don't like the dark. I get worried if I'm all alone in total darkness. Being stuck in a blackout alone is one of my greatest fears.
(Edit) LOL @ CG!
FinalfantasyForeverx3 - March 14, 2006 04:55 AM (GMT)
Wow if n00bs are your only fear all you need to do is pull the plug lol.
For me based on dreams
Having cuts all over my body (though its nice in a sadisic way lmao im so weired)
Worms coming out of my belly button O_o (scary as hell)
My belly button ring pussing (never happened but dreamed it)
Eating a worm in my food (I had this happen once only it was in my damn salad and I didn't eat it obviously but screamed in the restraunt)
&& most of all not getting married  i'm too freaking clingy to be alone my entire life
BlackWind - March 14, 2006 05:08 AM (GMT)
Clowns, spiders, a lot of bugs, and being alone. Oh, and nightmares can freak me out too, though I haven't had a nightmare in oh so long, thankfully.
Being home alone has always freaked me out too...Just knowing that I'm the only one in this house totally freaks me out, even at my dads small apartment, I just...Totally freak. I was watching The Ring 2 at my dads recently, and he had to go to the store to get something, and after 5 minutes of him not being there, I pushed pause and got on the computer untill he got back to watch the rest...>.> I'm kinda pathetic like that...lol.
Sefie - March 14, 2006 06:36 AM (GMT)
The space between my bed and the wall :( Who knows what evilz lurk there
Lynn - March 14, 2006 07:42 AM (GMT)
Pedestrian bridges.
<.<
Seriously. My knees turn to jello (and not the sexy kind used on bishies, either) everytime I'm forced to use one of those contraptions. Maybe I watched too many giant monster shows when I was a kid, but I keep imagining a giant monster (or something more mundane, like an earthquake... even if we don't get earthquakes in Malaysia...) falling in, the bridge crumbling and me falling through the concrete and splattering all over the road, being run over by vehicles and all.
Give me a zebra crossing any day!
| QUOTE (Real Emotion) |
| Being stuck in a blackout alone is one of my greatest fears. |
You should come to Malaysia to face that fear then. Blackouts are too common here, they're part of every day life. So I was verily amused when we faced a blackout while visiting my cousins in London, and they acted as if it were the adventure of their lives!
Other random things that scare me: clowns, dolls (those big dolls with the big blue eyes that blink as you shake them...).
Ants don't scare me, but I must hate them more than roaches. I keep imagining them chewing through my lips in dozens of little holes.
...
Hold me.
Kuki Prower - March 14, 2006 01:35 PM (GMT)
The dark! I know its sounds stupid but I'm terrified of it. I'm very paranoid, if a door in the room if opened I think some insane guy will jump out with an axe and chop my head off! Also I hear things in the dark and think the same thing will happen.
Blood to, I've been known to faint or have a fit at seeing blood. It just freaks me out and makes me feel like I'm gonna lose my own blood.
Spiders, its my dad's fault. He used to run his hand on the floor to scare me constantly when I was a kid and its stuck with me. Even tiny ones make me scream and run away.
*Needs a bodyguard*

Oh yeah, I'm also scared of spiders and ants. Oh gosh, they scare the crap out of me like woahh. If I see one (or more, especially with ants), I'll scream my head off, or make my eyes go wide and run around.
Or just plain bugs. I can't stand themmm.
I also cannot look a dots squished together. I can't explain it, but it makes me iffy, scared and...yeah. It just scares meh. :[
Crossing streets too. I'm so scared I might get run over by a car. D:
TidusBlankety - March 16, 2006 12:05 AM (GMT)
those gross discusting nasty vile...bleh centipedes >.< bleh!!!! i wish they would all die!...they are so gross...
Pyra Kurai Akaidra - March 17, 2006 10:09 PM (GMT)
To tell ya all the truth, it's kinda hard to scared me. But here's some who DO have the honour of freaking me out.
Nightmares - I hate them, which explain why I'm now scared of the two people below...
Seifer - Yes, SEIFER. I used to like him but ever since I have a nightmare where he nearly sliced my arm off, I don't like him quite as much.*hides behind Squall*
Dr Wily - Only the classic version from original Megaman. I dreamt he was sneaking in my house and was going to burn it down! Ahhhhhhhhh~!
Heights - Yes, heights. I don't mind two or three stories tall buildings, but any higher, like say 20 floors, and I'll freak out and stay away from windows as much as possible. Was afraid if a terrorist suddenly bombed the building or something and I'm WAY high up.
AmayaSaria - May 11, 2006 02:14 AM (GMT)
Sorry for bringing up an old topic, but I dunno where else to put it^^
One thing that scares me is Ants. They scare the bejeebers out of me....just a whole bunch of them crawling and squirming...theres just so many!! >_< I'm normally fine with bugs (even spiders XD), but when it comes to them, I either runaway, or I get a pot of hot water and burnnnnnnn them allll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MWHAHAHA!...Sorry spazzy moment.
Another thing that really scares me is that I was suppose to die when I was born... The doctors told me mum I wasn't suppose to live, that the umbelical cord (sp?) was wrapped around my neck, which would mean it would choke me if they were not careful. Another thing was, the night before me mum had me, she had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night....While running to the bathroom, she ran into a door knob, 'causing me to shift...
The way I was repositioned was not in a good way, if me mum had a C-section I would've died, but if I came out normally my neck would've snapped....Luckily the were really really careful and had lots of staff to make me come out...(even though I came out the wrong way...Butt first!)
...Its really creepy to think that you weren't suppose to be alive today.
Again, sorry for bringing this up, but I got really scared not too long ago thinking about it.
daydreamer198 - May 11, 2006 05:44 AM (GMT)
Clowns....:worry: man, I never should have watched that movie when I was 4....and those creepy dolls with the huge eyes...always staring at you..........
Pyra Kurai Akaidra - May 11, 2006 10:47 AM (GMT)
Oh and I'm afraid of bees and WASPS!!!
Especially in spring when there's plenty of them at school and I have a time of my life running about *half-sarcasm*.
Angelalex242 - May 11, 2006 11:11 AM (GMT)
What do I fear?
CloTis..a whole army of them...invading forums, bashing Aeris, cheering Sephiroth on, official materials that CloTi is right... :scream: :worry: :skull:
Oh, wait, you meant besides that...
So far, it would probably be loneliness and unemployment.
Not that unemployment itself is so bad, it's the no money that gets you kicked out of your apartment that's bad.

Well, thats going to happen sooner or later. But if you're alone with no moderators or administrators (which should rarely happen) you gotta be preapred for them :battlecry:
I get bashed every now and then, but I fight back.
..I dont want to be cocky by saying I dont fear anything because I know there's something Im afraid of. I'm afraid of losing soemone close to me. Im afraid of being alone. Im afraid of going crazy and hurting someone because of my anger. And then all of that will get me into being depressed...

Urgh, how can you not be scared of clows? I mean... just look at them! That is some level of crazy that I can't even compete with.
And then I have the most unreasonable dislike of feet. :/ Srsly.
Other than that, no real fears, nope! Or, nothing that comes to mind.

If anyone of you has ever played the game Twisted Metal Black with that crazy killer clown Sweetooth, thats one way of people getting their fears of clowns. Sweetooth would be really scary if he were to just pop up in your dreams and give you nightmares. That sinister laugh, that wicked smile, those bloody teeth :scream:... Im gonna shutup. I might be scaring daydreamer
And Im afraid of clowns too. Because their joyful cheeriness scares the hell out of me! :scream:

This is gonna sound childish and stupid but...Chucky the Doll frightens me to death. I can't even look at his face. It just creeps me out. Like one time, when the Seed of Chucky was in theaters, their was this HUGE cardboard poster of Chucky in the lobby of the theater and my two friends, had to take my arms and guide me around it because I didn't want to look at it. And I've never even seen a Chucky movie...just his face creeps the hell out of me.
Yeah, also afraid of clowns...but not as much as Chucky. It *the clown* was pretty scary though...

It doesn't sound childish to me. I was scared of Chucky ever since I started having nightmares about him. And my little brother felt the same way. In fact, he was so afraid, that he ended up having insomnia because he was afraid of having nightmares. :worry:
Its okay if you're afraid of Chuckie's face. I mean a face like his comes to the point where it can just get stuck in your mind. Then all of a sudden you'll fear that he may come to life :scream:...

Anyone ever saw Most Haunted? Some of the stuff on that is really freaky (where as some of it is really...dull).
It's not things that jump out at you and go "BOO!" which scare me, it's more things that make you think. Like Most Haunted, you've got to think are there actually ghosts or an afterlife of sorts? It scares me to think that there isn't one. But it also scares me to think that if ghosts are real, they could be watching anyone and you wouldn't know it...invaders of privacy if you ask me! :P
And some ghost stories that you hear from the locations that they go to are really freaky...there was one about an Incubus. I'm not going to get into that but if you know what one is, then you'll know why it's freaky.
So I guess I get more "freaked" than "scared" judging by the amount of times I just said "freaky"

Ohhh boy, now heres my kind of thread. What am I most afraid of? Storms, bad weather, especially tornados. Why? Can't tell yah that, all I know is the heavy winds freak me out, its very odd.
Meh second biggest fear is, well, losing people I love. Not necessarly death in itself, but just losing people close to me, yah know? -sniffle-

When you're really high up on a tiiiny standing space. ESPECIALLY with clear/glass floors. Like, going off a high dive. It scares the hell out of me, until I go. I love it then. :lmao: Of course, I'm scared easily. Scary movies disturb me...But still, the one thing that I cannot stand.....
DOLLS!
Yes. DOLLS. ESPECIALLY GLASS dolls. or broken dolls. those are really creepy. and porcelain. and the ones that are REALLY detailed. and CLOWNS!
AND SPIDERS!!
AAAGHH!!! :omg: Yeah. I'm scared very easily. But the heights/dolls are the WORST EVER!
Death doesn't scare me at all. ^^ I believe what I believe, and that means I believe what I believe about will happen after death. ^^ That made no sense. XP
OH YESH! The hospital scares me. Ever since my surgery......Laying in a bed, completely miserable, inept for a couple days, smelling of medicine, and feeling like crap....HOSPITALS. X_x I also love the hospital....Eveyone ish very nice and made me feel better. X3  :huggle:

Now thats my kind of weather. They say that that kind of weather makes you all sad and gloomy. But it does the oppsite. It actully gets me all excited knowing that something scary or action-powered is about to happen.

Im really afraid of hospitals. You know that funny smell of medicine and stuff when you first walk in? It freaks me out. And Im afraid of shots! Im so sensitive that I cry when the shot even comes towards me.
Im afraid of Death and I'll admit it. I see people all around me dying in where Im from :fear:. Sometimes I wonder will I survive at this age. But the only time I really wont worry about dying is when Im old.

Tornados scare me, too. And I've never seen one in real life either. But I saw part of this one movie when I was little-like 4 or 5-and my dad was watching it, and I happened to go past the TV and there was this tornado that blew threw this city and killed a lot of people. *And no it wasn't the movie "Tornado" it was something else.* I got so scared. Just seeing it on the TV screen terrified me. I can't even watch that part in "The Day After Tomorrow" without closing my eyes. :D

Oh. My. Goodness. THUNDERSTORMS.
When the lightning gets bright and the thunder goes KABOOM really loud just gets me into tears. Literally.
Kassa_Pyro - May 18, 2006 12:36 AM (GMT)
Oddly enough, the lightening doesnt scare me TOO bad, but I can understand where your coming from, its just the general storm, chance of tornados, and the wind that get me going...and I get pretty bad, I think it might even fall under phobia. *Obviously doesnt know what that phobia is called* ...
Yeah, storms are bad :(
EDIT: Lookie here, a whole list of phobias, a-z!
http://phobialist.com/Mine is most likely Lilapsophobia- Fear of tornadoes and hurricanes. Its also just Stormphobia, since I can't seem to find something thats just for storms...Yeah, anyways, heres a helping list, its pretty cool...there are some odd phobias out there.
Phobophobia- Fear of phobias. 0.0 This is an odd one, no?

I'm a strong swimmer, but I've always had a fear of drowning. I couldn't get on a cruise and have the boat go so far I couldn't see land. It would be much too scary for me.
I get anxious on some rollar coaster rides, but that's about it.

I'm scared of ferris wheels. Even before i could get down to the safe solid earth from that thing, i'm already dead. I'm afraid of yachts. :worry:
It reminds me of TITANIC even if it's not a huge ship!!! I'm also afraid of my korean teacher who looks a lot like Sadako!!! also afraid of bathrooms, yes, they scare me. i feel like someone's watching...esp. bathrooms at school!!! i need at least four friends to get there, they said there is a nun wandering at the library and a little girl lurking around the bathrooms!!! :fear:
I'm also afraid of my sister's dolls, the one's who can close their eyes!!! YIKES!!! Oh, and i am a bit scared when a guy whom i don't know sits beside me...esp. taxi drivers, i need my boyfriend to cling. XD :scream:
