I was playing various FF games, depending on my mood, levelling up my characters. As I watch them doing their victory stances, I wonder about something...

So this thread came up!

Which victory stances is your favourite?! Obviously for FF7 and higher games, since everyone's stance is the same in classics.

For me, I'll say Squall. Because he's Squall, he way he move his sword is cool, somewhat dignified and very easy to do. (Done it with a cricket bat during PE) I also like Aerith's stance, as well as Yuffie's and Selphie's!

What about you guys?!

Quistis' victory stance is so...posh and chic. :)

I like Irvine's as well. Squall's stance looks cool too. Aeris' is just sweet. :D

My favorite is Garnet's. Dagger's is the best. I twirled battons when I was young and it's awesome! I can still do it.

I love Aeris's! Its so feminine, yet it has a certain cuteness to it! Something a elegant, graceful woman would do. Wipe dust of clothes, and catch her breath. :D right?

Lulu, just because I do that for a victory stance. I've done it in PE a lot, xD. I like Rikku's too, and Aerith's is cute. Oh yeah, is it Tifa who does the stretchy thing, 'cause I do that too.

Dagger's stance where she twirls her scepter/racket around her back is cute and Tifa's is also a favorite. I used to do that stretch all the time after I saw her do it. XD; X-2 Thief!Rikku's victory pose is also really cute.

Stance... I guess the older games are out, since their victory stance they were just raising and lowering their arms ^^;

In VII, it's Cloud's twirling his sword, Yuffie's monkey dance, and Cid removing his cigarette.

DoC Vincent had him throwing his red cloak in a dramatic fashion after shooting something. Awesome victory stance in that way.

In VIII... Seifer's pose. And Zell's punching the air in excitement. Irvine is cool looking in his victory pose as well. Kiros is downright awesome while Laguna was kind of dorky, but in a nice way.

IX's Vivi and Freya.

X's Auron. Plus he gets the cool lines.

X-2 Yuna White Mage (where she jumps up and down), Paine in Berserker and Rikku as Samurai.

XII. Vaan with spear/staff (I never like that other stance where he bites a fruit. I don't get why he would choose that time to eat after killing a boss, low constitution?). Ashe sheating her sword (or when she was dusting herself) and Fran with bow (with arrow in her lips).

Vivi's is cute the way he does that little dance

I like Freya's, there's just something cool about it.

Aeris's is cute the way she fixes her hair and dusts herself off.

And I like Cid's for reason's I don't know.

My favorite victory stance is Aeris'. I love how she dusts herself off and pats her hair to makes sure everything is in it's proper place, followed by an exhale, placing her hand on her chest in relief that she made it out alive, and unharmed yet again, from another battle.

From FF VII, Sephiroth. I believe the first time you see it is when you fight the dragon in the Kalm flashback, and he kills it with ease. Then he just swings his sword to add to the coolness factor.

In VIII, probably Irvine. He was always my favourite.

In IX, I liked Vivi's little celebration jump. It's what helped make him such a likable chatacter. Also, I kinda liked Amarant's because it didn't do anything except fiddle with his glove. It just made him seem so calm and cool.

I forget victory stances in X and X-2, especially since X-2 had so many.

Selphie's, it's just so darn cute!
I also really like Yuna in X-2 as a white mage, also adorable.
And Aeris', *dust dust dust beam*

In FFX, I love Lulu's stance, it's so cute xD

In FFVII, when Vincent is transformed into Chaos and kicks butt, his stance is so cocky for some reason and I LOVE it...it makes me think of in DoC when he's Chaos and says in that cocky voice, "Hmmph, guess it's time I...save the world" or whatever LOL

Cloud's sword turning over his head... and that's all. Basically the only one that stuck in my head. Well amarant sitting down was another that stuck in my head, but only because I thought it was stupid... he never had a fanfare move for a while and when he finally did it, it was the worst move ever. >_>

I knew I was going to say this but....Rinoa's. :lol: I love the way she turns and casually flicks her hair back, like it was no big deal. Selphie's was way cute as well. ^_^

I'm a lover of Yuffie's jump & spin. It's so cute! I also love it when you have say a shot gun and Vincent twirls it and tries to stick in his holster. How is that thing gonna fit, Vin!? XD I don't remember Sephiroth's because he was only in your party once.

I like Vaan's when he has a two-handed sword equipped, he slams it into the ground and then puts his foot on it, resting casually. I also like Balthiers...any of his...because he's so nice to look at... :drool:

I like Cloud's; they even work it into the game storyline! And Sephiroth's. He's just cool and I loved how his hair blew in the wind. FF12 has some nice victory stances, but you see them so rarely that I can't seem to fix them into my memory.

I like Vaan's stance with a pole. Considering that's my main choice for him, unless I'm forced to equip him with a sword and shield.

Penelo when she's equiped with a Measure (I was about to switch her back to Crossbow in a boss fight, but Berserked Basch finish it off). Stretching like she have a good workout.

Fran with a katana, calmly sheathing it, even if it seem very heavy.

Balthier, oh god, any of his stances, of the few I know, is good. I like him with his gun, a sword which he put into the ground and stand on it...

I'd say Squall's is my favorite one, because he just looks so cool doing it... and it seems pure bad-ass to me... The way he swings his sword in victory, then puts it over his shoulder in that laid-back manner, as if to say "Yeah, piece of cake!"

Cloud's is always cool as well, the way he sharply maneuvers his sword while spinning it is also cool.

Can't think of anyone else's that really sticks out to me...

I would have to say Vivi's little jumping victory. He's so adorable!
