If your friends' only proof that Cloud and Tifa "did something" before AC is the Cloudy Wolf ring, then they'd have to throw Barret and Denzel into that little grouping-- both Barret and Denzel also wear the same ring that Tifa does.

So in a nutshell, no, Cloud and Tifa were never confirmed to have done anything before AC. Your friends can speculate until their faces turn blue, but it's all up to your imagination at this point.

And try not to let them rile you up like that. Just calm down and laugh them off, especially if they only like Tifa because she wears a miniskirt. :rolleyes:

Hell no. There's absolutely zero evidence to support Cloud and Tifa having any sort of romantic evidence, let alone a sexual one. In fact, if people actually care enough about Cloud to look at his behaviour and personality (and past to boot), they'd realize that at that time, Cloud was most likely completely incapable of carrying on a romantic relationship, particularly one of that magnitude.

I mean come on, the guy *just* started to come to terms with everything that happened in his past, including being shunned in his childhood, tortured for five years, losing people important to him, etc. At that point in time he's just starting to learn how to function in society (ie) negotiating for the bar). I doubt he'd be well adjusted enough to carry on a relationship with someone, (especially considering that relationships are hard work even for normal people). Yeah the whole "OMG THEY HAD SEX!!!" theory is ridiculous. But people will always be like that, unfortunately. :no:

People (especially Clotis) have been mistaking the ring for a wedding ring. That is simply not the case. First off, Barret and Denzel also have a ring like that (I don't have the screen shots - maybe someone else can get it?). For some reason I don't see Cloud giving out presents. I mean, for what? He's not that kind of guy. It's very possible that the same person who gave Cloud the Cloudy wolf symbol on his chest is the same person who gave the others rings. I mean, it's entirely speculation, but that's the point. Nobody knows how they got those things. Cloud must interact with a lot of people on his delivery run so there's no telling who he'd might meet and who might give him what as payment.

But also, we have to really think about the whole marraige possibility. We don't have to wonder about what happened between FF7 and AC because the good people at Squeenix Inc. told us with Case of Tifa. If Cloud did do something so bold, so important as to propose to Tifa, wouldn't they have...I don't know...mentioned it in CoT? I mean, especially since it's from Tifa's point of view, I doubt that she'd leave that little tidbit out while reminiscing about the events leading up to AC.

In short, no, Cloud and Tifa didn't have any sort of romantic relationship - at least there's no evidence to prove otherwise. On top of that, every sign seems to point between Cloud being incapable of doing that, particularly at that period of time. You can breathe easy!

I mean people can say what they want about her character. Personally, I never liked her, but people are free to think what they want. The problem is, though, that whatever her personality is, it seems to always take a back seat to what she looks like. It's quite sad, really, and nobody can be blamed for that except her character designer (*glares at Nomura and horny game designers everywhere* :mad: ). I firmly believe Cloud is not ready for anything resembling marriage, sex or having babies after FFVII-- having been stuck in a tube for almost five years, I believe he'd have the biggest adjustment to make to real life out of everyone. He's not a baby, but at this point, I think Cloud will have his hands full just trying to take care of himself.

I find unbelievable the notion that he's miraculously better after FFVII, is able to juggle real life (something I imagine being somewhat foreign to him after all the crap he's been through), his emotions and still have sex and raise a family with a girl with whom he shares a complicated relationship (it's not a simple, unblemished childhood friendship-- his friendship with Tifa is overlayed with some heavy emotional baggage, let alone any romance).

It's like throwing away the five years of torture he had with Hojo, at losing Zack, losing Aerith etc. and making him the head of a FFVII Brady Bunch.

Yeah, it's just FANDOM, but i've been in fangirliness since 1997...i happened to support Cloud and Aerith....and Yamato and Mimi from Digimon, which FAILED, cuz he married Sora....and payback's a biyatch. This Clerith ship is not just a pea in a pod for me, i dont wanna let this Clerith ship FAIL like my other fandom, this fandom means a LOT to me, i've grown out for it, i'm 19 years old already and i still love the game, since no one proves that Cloud prefers Aerith more...we should expect something more, and i asked some of the members of my family, lyk my brother, yes indeed he wants Cloud to end up with Aerith...cuz she's wearing a low-cut dress. -_-;

They say since Tifa was embarassed the next day, and they say the reaction of the others shows that they did but I don't remember what was said if you have the high affection version. It was on a site somewhere but I don't remember. I doubt it that they did anything though.

ANYWAY, the Cloudy Wolf rings have no romantic significance whatsoever. Yes, Tifa wears one. But so does Barret. Denzel has one on a necklace around his neck as well, much like Rinoa had Squall's ring. What does this mean? It means that if the rabids want to imply ONLY Tifa's means something, they would have to rule out the ring on Barret's left hand as well as Denzel's Rinoa-ish set up as well. MEANING the ring means nothing romantic. Only to show that they are connected to Cloud.

By the way, I strongly suggest that you guys start posting with proper grammar and spelling, or at least ATTEMPT to. Reading constant internet slang is not going to make others here sympathetic to what you have to say. You are exactly right! I noticed that no of the other kids in nielbiem liked cloud much. Thats why he wanted out. I feel as though Tifa was becoming possesive of Cloud for some reason before he left.
Tifa's clothing didn't suit her at all. I prefer her AC outfit. Her FF7 clothing made he seem like someone she wasn't.
I think the rings are just symbloism of the lone wolf.
