I think they should make a new KH game where you play as Cloud and what-not
see cloud's story thru his eyes...
along with leon(squall), yuffie and cid...and maybe more ff characters
(no tifa pls!!!)
and of course scenes with aerith :cleris:
i always wanted to do that on KH or at least have a ff character by ur side instead of disney characters eg. aladdin, peter pan etc.

You kind of get that chance in KH2, although you don't actually ever control the FF character in your party (except for Auron). I like to make full use of those moments by running around and letting the FF character kill all the enemies for me-- leaves me free to enjoy the joygasmic moment. :D

Even if I'd love any chance to play as Cloud (or Aerith! :dance: )... No.

My KH-fan side would be reeling from losing my fandom to the FF crowd. It'd be like Shinn losing his series to Kira in Gundam SEED Destiny. Not to mention enforce the impression that Nomura suffers from the George Lucas Syndrome and is unable to let go of past works. >_<

Besides, you already get to play as Cloud and Leon in their respective games. The FF characters are pretty one-dimensional in KH, so unless Nomura spends precious time rebuilding their personalities (that were already built on in their respective games) instead of focusing his efforts on something new/KH3, it'd be pretty boring to play as, say... Cloud in KH.

Leon might be kinda fun, though, just because he seemed unusually more trippy in KH2 compared to his KH1 self. :P

yh i see ur point with that part but i honestly feel that ff characters were a lil neglected, like it was more of a disney thing (at least they were more connected to the basic story line <_< )

Well, of course. It IS a Disney thing. The FF characters started out as cameos, and although Nomura might try to give them increased screentime later on, they will always be there just to serve that basic purpose. I would not want it any other way.

I feel it's what makes Kingdom Hearts the game it is-- any in-depth focus on the FF characters would only serve to overshadow the REAL main characters of the game: Sora, Riku, Kairi, and yes, the Disney characters. In the end, what you'd get is a FF fan's crossover dream game, a mishmash of previous FF games and hardly anything new.

It's really strange. My cousin in Singapore claims she's going to buy the ORIGINAL KH2 game in English. I can't help but think she's mistaken, since while I realise the pirated copies might make it out this early, I don't recall the actual game being released at this time.
