Some Cloti people mention evidence or reasons, but don't think about the facts. Cloud was happy with Aeris. Cloud and Aeris would be happy together. They compliment each other and have a natural chemistry. Tifa would not be satisfied with Cloud. Tifa wants a hero. Tifa wants someone who is popular and famous. As a child, she was the it girl, she got what she wanted socially and had lots of guys around. It is implied that she dated a bunch of guys in her group. She thought Cloud was weird and Cloud wasn't popular socially. She didn't notice Cloud until after she met Zack, someone who filled her ideal qualities in a guy, someone who was popular, famous and a hero. She tried to cling onto that memory when she met Cloud. A lot of Clotis try to turn this on Aeris, but Aeris liked Cloud for who he was. Aeris got to know Cloud. Tifa would not be satisfied with Cloud if they got together. Outside of the enviroment of fighting for the world, if they went into a normal life, Tifa would not be satisfied. She was thinking of the idea with Cloud as a hero, but she didn't really like or understand Cloud's personality. Aeris is able to be honest with Cloud and relax around Cloud. Tifa would get tired of him, she doesn't really know him and he couldn't satisfy her. She wants a hero, she wants someone who is famous. She just wouldn't be happy with Cloud otuside of the setting. She didn't get to know Cloud in a one-on-one atmosphere the way Aeris did. List reasons why Cloud wouldn't satisfy Tifa, this is a bit different than the reasons they wouldn't be good together. This is reasons why Tifa just wouldn't be able to be happy with him.

I completely agree, UsagiMamoru, and I think that was shown very well in Case of Tifa. There were many things that Tifa was unhappy about. She thought that the names Cloud came up with for the Seventh Heaven were boring. She wanted Cloud to spend more time at the Seventh Heaven. She wasn't happy that Cloud was gone for days at a time on his deliveries. She wanted Cloud to spend more time with she and Marlene. She thought his descriptions of places to the children were too simplistic. He doesn't laugh at her jokes, and it said in one place that she felt awkward talking to Cloud.

She was hurt when Cloud found his own worlds, such as the Church and Fenrir, and that Cloud hadn't told her about them. She was hurt that Cloud wouldn't tell her about delivering the bouquet to Aerith's grave. She was hurt when Cloud refused to drink with her afterwards and talk about it. She wanted to go to the Church with Cloud, and he hadn't invited her to go along.

It also seemed to me that Tifa would prefer that Cloud spent time around the Seventh Heaven socializing with people instead of going off on his own. I think Cloud's way too quiet for Tifa, and that it bothers her when he doesn't share things with her. He likes to go off on his own, and Tifa wants to be part of what he does. He's not the type to go looking for fun, while Tifa is. I don't think they'd be happy together, either.
