Wow! This is awesome news, I had a hay day looking up everybody on IMDB and finding out about their past roles. (Z. O. M. G. RUDE. IS. REGAL. BRYANT. AND. CID. IS. YUAN. AND. ZACK. IS. GIPPAL. AND. RENO. IS. ISAARU. :hyper: ) Love to see the return of old KH favorites like Steve Burton and Christy Carlson Romano, and there are some new faces I'm looking forward to seeing in these roles. IMDB is probably wrong--Paul Dobson works for Ocean Group. I just got a confirmation from Crispin Freeman that he did indeed voice Rude, so therefore, that first cast list is probably the correct one. :D

*smacks self* At first I thought you were referring to Spike from Buffy, and imagined Vincent with a Brit accent. XD

I don't recognise most of the VAs except the ones from KH, but judging from the general reaction here, I say SE's made a good pick. ^^

Finally, I cant wait to hear and watch the US-Version :D

Ha, I won't dare to believe any release date until I have this movie in my hands. SE even put September, 18th in a TRAILER which is something I would consider official and still it didn't happen...
I'm set to believe in Amazon's release date (2025) until SE proves me wrong :whistle: ...

Some say she's a good match for Aerith, others are a little more iffy. I say it's anyone's guess at the moment, since a VA who's good at one character may stink horribly at another and vice versa. Best to hold judgement until we actually get to hear for ourselves how the new Aerith sounds like.

And yes, still being very doubtful about the release date. I think most people will be somewhat, until they hold the actual DVD set in their hands. :lol:

Well, I am glad to see that they picked a few VAs I know! Crispin Freeman was the voice of Alucard in Hellsing and Tsume in Wolf's Rain. I really wish he was voicing a character with more lines than Rude because he just has an awesome voice! :drool: And Dave Wittenberg was the VA for Sora from the .hack series. His voice should go really well with Yazoo.

And I really wish Paul Dobson would do Sephiroth. :( He has the perfect voice for that!

I've only heard of Michelle Ruff and Crispin Freeman (I'm was a Rave Master fanatic...), but I'm sure that the voices will turn out well.

I agree. He normally plays the bishie roles so I've become a fan of his. If he's just playing Rude then I'm a bit disappointed.

Crispin Freemand has an awesomely awesome voice and he does the best characters....

Its quite funny 'cause he does all the deep and scary voices (Alucard) but in real life, he's kinda small and scrawny....Heres a pic of him...

Cloud wasn't exactly a happy camper in KH, ye know. I thought his personality in KH was very similar to Cloud's personality in AC.

hm....I didnt play KH yet, just read the official manga by shiro so I dont know about his voice, I just heard some voice clip of Cloud in KH and in my opinion his voice doesnt sound the depressive sie of Cloud...

Just my first impression, I didnt play KH......

All of them are good VA's and SE matched them up with the characters pretty well based on what I know of them. AC is going to be awesome! :D

Yeah, I can't think of Mena Suvari without thinking American Pie. And Since Maaya Sakamoto made a great Aerith in the Japanese version, it'll be hard to get used to lol!

But did anyone see her KH2 interview for Aerith?? I just hope she improves for AC. I just felt she didn't put enough feeling into the character. But I'm sure she will be better in AC...practice makes perfect after all.

Unfortunetly, I won't be getting it until the 26th....I hate gamestop...well I don't know if its just gamestop thats doing this, but apparently AC ships on the 25th and will be available for sale on the 26th. The guy at gamestop was giving me a big attitude about it too. Has anyone heard about this? Because I was planning to get mine on the 25th...

I still don't know if I should get it --- I already have the official japanese version, so I don't know if it'll be worth it...then again, the US version has Reminiscence and all that as well so.. :sad:

Our WalMart already has copies in the back room. I told Scott to save me a special edition copy since we usually get like 3 different kinds: Regular, 2-disc package (the movie release and then another movie like it. In this case the other movie is the craptastic Spirits Within), and the Special Edition.

Even if the sell date is on the 26th, I can get it on the 25th if I can prove that that is the day it comes out.
