- One day, in days before the internet, a girl called A played FFVII and was blown away by the amazing storyline and the helplessly romantic undertone of the story. She spent hours thinking about the couple she supported, about how it made into one of the best romantic couple ever.

- She then decided to go online for FAQs and by chance, she stumbled upon a forum. Unknowingly, she entered and read the first comment. The person, B, was talking about *gasp* Cloud + the girl that B supports him with!

- A was surprised, and she posted a comment stating her own opinion, that Cloud loved 'the girl that A supports him with' instead. B disagreed with A and posted another comment. This lasted for a while, and at the same time other people joined in, backing up either A or B.

- A is now scarred for life. She feels resentment to B's point of view and she visits sites in hopes to find evidence that the couple she support is the 'real' one.

- But that wasn't enough. She gets really protective of her point of view and whenever she spots the opposite side, she gets sensitive and flames unnecessarily, blinded by her own beliefs.

- Tired of being attacked by the opposite side, her hatred grows deeper and she decides to open up a hate site/fanlisting, in hopes to 'collect' more people with the same opinion as her. She joins forums, hones her debating skills, and troops off with her band of supporters to defend their supported coupling.

- She wants to stop, but she cannot. To her the 'other side' are pushing her to the edge, making her impossible to just thrust up her white flag and claim: "Let us stop this." She knows that the war has gone out of hand and a mere individual opinion isn't going to change the rest of the supporters. So she stays in this war, defending her territory protectively and attacks back only when necessary. It'a a never-ending loop of fate....

- Oh... she sad history of the ClAeris/CloTi war...

OMG, that is just SO TRUE!!!! I was seeing myself back there!! Let us hope that the movie will end the war...on our side, of course!! :lol:

To tell you the truth, it was never really that bad before. I had some great discussions with them. I think it started right around the time Kingdom Hearts was released though. :unsure:

who knows the begging of the cleris an cloti war and how it started i like your lil made up story aprills or is it??

i gotta say thats where i think everything got out a hand when Kingdom Hearts started and crushed the poor clotis and then they couldnt handle it!! :D
