The Son Theory. -Reasons listed by Me and BlurryBlueMoon (Keru)

I'm sorry if someone already posted this, I only wanted to write something because I had nothing to really do..xD

I know most of you guys think Roxas and Sora could be Cloud and Aerith's child already...D:

I just wanted to make a list of reasons why Square might be hiding the truth from us D< kidding..Or am I...but yeah, theres alot of traits heredity could have gave him.

-Facial Traits-

As you see, we see a half nak- ...Merman Sora. Hey, I'm using this so don't look at me like i'm some pervert. D: <3

If you look at his eyes, they are a REALLY deep blue, his hair is a dark colored brown. But he's not built like Cloud, I'd say hes alot like Cloud in the face, though. Especially the hair. :lol: But, hes built alot like Aerith if anything..'Cept for the fact he's a man. xD'


See, Sora is extremly scrawny compaired to Cloud.


Due to the size of the KH2.co.uk's Aerith official art, I got this picture from..somewhere else.
In the arms, and legs, Sora looks alike, Although merman Sora has no legs, theres more official art of him coming in here soon... And the hair colors. Sora's is a little lighter, but hey, Cloud is a blonde. ^^

-Personality Traits-


Both Sora and Cloud are involved in a love triangle. (Though we know Cloud belongs with Aerith, of course :3) Cloud, Aerith, Tifa. Kairi, Sora, Riku.

Cloud and Sora both have a main reason they're fighting for and another, but it doesnt mean as much though its important.

Cloud was fighting to get back at Sephiroth for burning down his hometown, killing Aerith, ect ect, but the mission he would complete along with that was saving the planet, thought that didn't mean as much to Cloud.

Sora fights to be reunited with his friends from Destiny Islands, but to do that he needs to save the stars/planets from being destroyed by darkness, that isnt his main goal though, getting his friends back is.
..Wow, their missions are even close. :D Also hence their "Light" conversation in Kingdom Hearts.

Sora and Kairi remind us alot of Cloud and Aerith, with those famous hand reach scenes, as well. And their relationship, They will always be together emotionally but maybe can't be together in person.

After Riku (Who suspicously looks like one of the SHM from FFVII, I'm looking at you Sephiroth...He also acts alot like Tifa sometimes....D: we'll save that for another day though.) joins the heartless, Sora wants to help him even after they end up fighting so many times, I'd say hes naive, Like Aerith.

First of... AAAAH YOU USED MERMAN SORA! *goes blind* XDDD

Cloud was pretty scrawny in the official FFVII artwork too... at least, as scrawny as you can get at 21 years old. I can never look at the official art without giggling and going "Popeye arms!". :lol: He's much better proportioned in KH1, I think.

But yeah, taking into account Sora's age, no wonder he's scrawny. Cloud probably wasn't all that different when he was younger either. I keep getting impressions of him, as this small, scrawny kid who was shorter than all the other boys, being severely beaten up as a child in FFVII.

It's funny, though, because it never felt like a big love triangle with these kids (maybe it's because they're kids...? :sweat: ). But throughout KH1, it seemed like Riku was more pissed off about Sora taking off with his new friends than he was that Kairi loved Sora. The romance was more subtle and behind-the-scenes when it came to Sora, Kairi AND Riku.

But, er, in that sense, I can see the similarities. The love triangle played a small role in KH, much like how the love triangle in FFVII played a small role too.

BTW, I highly discourage direct linking of the images. It's usually frowned upon, and uses up precious bandwidth from the original site that costs them money. It would be better to upload these images to a place like Imageshack, which is made for storing images. You can use the thumbnail feature so that we can still see the pics here without having to click on them. :)

But the similiraties are indeed quite astounding. I mean, Sora does practically look like their son. It's hard to think this a coincidence.

Even Riku looks like a Sephiroth, same turquoise/aquatic eyes, same long silver hair, and both went to darkness in a way, but Riku is good deep in and he turned around for the better. I thought Riku was a spawn of him at first in looks.

But back to Sora, we need a smilie of him. It would be fun to use. Anyway, at first, I wondered if Nomura based off Sora off these two lovebirds. It sure as heck seems like it. Cloud's blue eyes and and spiky hair, Aerith's personality, hair, and smile, though Sora's hair is a bit lighter, but it's the blonde in Cloud's. At first I even though they were his parents, cause before all I heard is that FF characters were going to be there and since it's AU, then I saw Sora's pic. My surprise it wasn't (But it was all fun though).

Of course Sora is scrawny. You don't expect him to have a GODLY 21 year old Cloud body at KH/14, KH2/15 right? Forget Riku, I swear he took steroids. J/K. (I mostly think is cause in the island, he was the one that usually worked around there. Sora was a "lazy bum" if you remember). Not to mention, Sora does a AC cutting Cloud move in the end of KH2. More like his father everyday. *wipes tear*

I think that the physical traits dont need to be the necesary the clue , however Nomura's intent could have been to portray the wath if child of :cleris: however most likely he kept this to himself and may have not even shared it with other SE people.

I say that cause this kinds of things tend to happen alot in japanese gaming culture, just like shaodows of the colossus or ico everyone was asking, wath was mono to the wanderer? or wath did yorda told ico at the end of the game?

The creator said he had hes own version of ho she was or wath it was said but he didnt shared it with the fans cause he said that everyplay should have hes or her own version or somethin like that.

XD This thread is well over a year old (soon to clock in two years!) because while we all like the fantasy of Sora being their son it just isn't possible. And, to be honest, I doubt it was ever Nomura's intention to make a CxA baby. It's just his designing he style. He tends to make blue eyed blondes and brunettes. (Squall, Cloud, Zidane, Tidus, etc.)

Oh ****! I thought that character of mine was original! Ah well. There are a lot of changes to be made...

Anyway, it's an interesting idea but Sora seems more fit to be a Cleris child. Could be his looks, or his personality (pseudo-Cloudish Aerith!)...
