Title: A Few New Details
Description: from recent Nomura interview

There was a recent interview with Nomura in Dorimaga magazine that we already talked about in this thread:
http://s8.invisionfree.com/Cloud_x_Aerith/...p?showtopic=349However, RPGamer just published information about the same interview, and some other details were discussed about Dirge of Cerberes that I didn't see mentioned at the other source. Specifically, the RPGamer article mentions this about DC:
Dirge of Cerberus will take place in an area under the ground that was hidden by Meteo and will unveil some of the Turks' hidden plans. Both articles mentioned that DC will be taking place in Midgar, which is surprising. One building in the DC pics looked like the Shinra mansion to me, so I thought it was taking place in Nibelheim. Both articles also stated that some characters from AC will also be in DC, although they haven't specified which ones.
The article at RPGamer can be found here:

Turks? So they are still up to no good (and alive!) even after the events of AC? Just makes me wonder what on earth will they do in that movie and how it will end.
I wonder if they are revealing things like this on purpose, as they should know that we fans know that DC will take place few years (?) after AC.
So whatever they reveal about this game is directlly linked to the movie.
Ah, but I love how they are starting to connect to many products like this. This makes both AC and DC more interesting as I know that after seeing the movie I can learn even more by playing DC. ^_^

They aren't really linked since "AC is Cloud's story and DC is Vincent's" and they aren't connected. All we will know is if certain characters are alive or not. Hopefully they will say more when the game is released though.

More Turk-ness! Hurrah! Hurrah!
Funny, I thought they were on the side of good since AC.
Maybe the "other Turks" from BC will make an appearance in this one again. That is, if they're still capable.
Now I'm interested.

Ahh, but they are. Or at least I remember how it was clearly said that DoC is set after the events of AC. Am I mistaken? Have I been dreaming? (It has been known to happen before...)
If that does not link them then I have no idea what does.
It doesn't matter of the point of view changes.

An article featured in Japanese publication Shounen Jump this week finally revealed the genre of Square Enix's PlayStation 2 title Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. Featuring popular Final Fantasy VII character Vincent Valentine, this third installment of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII is being described as a gun action RPG in the article. Judging from screenshots, it seems like players will be able to switch between first and third person perspective.
Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII will be available in Japan sometime this year. RPGFan will have more information on Dirge of Cerberus and other Square Enix titles directly from the E3 show floor next week.Source:

I'm just thrilled that a great character like Vincent is finally given his due! I wanted more of him in FF7 and was disappointed not to see him in the ending scene. I was very happy to not only learn would he be in AC, he seems to have the longest scene with Cloud out of all his allies(not counting Tifa) and that he is learning a few things from our sullen protagonist(the 'forgiveness' thing). And now he gets his OWN STORY :fangirl: And thank you SE for putting it out on a console that I actually own!
