Title: Aerith A Godess?

I don't really know as I'm right here, but this is a good question...
But in Some Religions is God Wather. And in Final Fantasy is the Element of Aerith Wather too. So what do you think? Is she a Godess?

I don't exactly see Aeris as goddess, but I do see her as the care-taker of the lifestream. In her novella, aparently, she can't leave the lifestream because she has both Cetra and Human blood. So this means she is unable to join the other Cetra and she's unable to merge with the lifestream like humans.
Aeris basically stays in the Lifestream, and greets souls that weren't able to merge because of there grief or sins. She helps them forgive themselves and atone for there sins so that they are able to merge with the Lifestream.

Also in AC: (SLIGHT SPOLIERS)
Aeris is able to contol the lifestream and speak to others living on the Planet. She can weave the lifestream out from the ground and she can make it rain to help others and/or cure others.

But seriously she had to appear "normall every day girl...you can relate to" In order for us to cry for her when she spoilerd....if she was a godess well "officialy" we'd be like "yeah.... w/e :aeris: wasen't really "normall" to begin with This sacrifice is what godesses do"

I'd say she is more like a ~saint~!!!! :aeris: rather than a goddes. But hey... I aqgree with you FinalFantasyForeverx3, she is Cloud's goddess. To be considered a saint don't miracles, involving you (water healing everyone of their geostigma), have to happen? I'm sorry but I remember my friend mentioning something about this but I can't remember the details???? :ermm: So I say Aeris is a SAINT!!! :angel:

The Greek goddess of strife was named Eris ("EE-RIS"), aka Discordia in Roman mythology. XD~
