You see the upper-right corner of your message-box thingy? Where 'quote' and 'report' is? Inbetween them is 'edit'.
The edit button is your friend, use it wisely. ;)
And Anastar never said this topic was 'old', she just said that you were trying to bump it to get people's attention, which you, um, were.
And about your idea, no offense, but I think it could use a little work.... :huggle:
EDIT: And don't be angry at me for saying the above, for I love you. :plot:

The Edit button is on the top-right of each of your posts, provided you are logged in. And Anastar never said this topic was old, so I don't know where you're getting that from.
Finally, there is no need to shout or be rude just because someone politely reminded you of the forum rules. ~ Lynn
To get on-topic, I'm usually never in favour of people inserting major original characters into a fanfiction. I would just rather, as a reader, read about the game's characters that I care about. It would take a lot for me to end up liking an OC, and most of the time, authors don't build them up very well.
I'm also not partial to anything dealing with time-travelling, as it starts a bunch of time loops that are hellish to explain. It can be done, of course, but it's a tricky subject. But I know both these ideas you have also appeal to other readers, just not myself.
I think the 'ghost' bit doesn't fit in with the FFVII world. It would bring the question of why Cloud hadn't used it before to bring back Aerith's ghost. Having travelled the world, you'd think he and his troup would be know the most out of almost any surviving character about materias. I also don't see the need to bring your character back as a ghost, unless you have other posthumous plans for him.
Lastly, I realise I'm being negative about most of your points, but don't let this stop you from writing it if you want to. Consider it an exercise, if you will. Good ideas, silly ideas, bad ideas-- we all start off somewhere. Get it all out in writing as practice.

Umm, you asked for opinions, and I gave mine. I hope you at least read it before posting, and didn't stop right after the blue font ended.
I would also suggest waiting a few more days, maybe even a week before expecting replies. You'd actually get a wider range of opinions, which can only be better for you, and keep in mind that people take time to view new threads.

Zomg, dude, just because two people don't care for your idea is no reason to delete the idea and throw a little fit.
Guess what? You have opinions! And we have opinions! Congradulations! :woot:
You should keep your idea up if you really want to see what people think about it, and if you can't take negative critism, why ask for other people's opinions?

I strongly agree with Rikkulicious.
Besides, Everyone and I mean EVERYONE should respect someone's opinion in a nice and manner-like way, based on his/her idea or thought. :law: :P
