Im new :D i just wanna say that cleris belong together! there the best couple in gaming history. :cleris:

I was recently on a cloti forum, i just wanted to share the pathetic reasons that they have for Cloud and Tifa being a better couple :mad:


When I saw Cloud and Tifa together first in the seventh heaven in the beginning of the game, i thought man...are they going to be the couple? Becus i didn't see any other girl (well u do see aerith in th beginning fmv and bump into her on the streets, but your not suppose to know who she is, your suppose to move on, why grow attached to her, leave her a mystery which is what I think they intended her to be).

The theme of Tifa's made it feel like, hey, this is a nice girl. And then you find out they made a promise in childhood so they know each other better/more than the others. There's that depth. Plus a promise? Now it confirmed me it would only be them. There further interactions were cute. There's a shot where Cloud is folding his arm across his chest looking all bad in front of Tifa, And Tifa is looking all shy and cute and did a thing with her leg...I think that was adorable. I knew they liked each other, and I loved how Tifa liked him a lot...We know this BEFORE we meet Aerith so the player should be familiar with Tifa and the little things between she and Cloud, plus how good they look together.

So I think at this point they are the better couple because of the depth, there is tension between them, they should/need to get together cus cloud better stop acting bad and tifa well...she should let him no formally..So I like Cloud and Tifa becuause Tifa was first and we knew her (the players) first, and we are expecting she and Cloud to get together.

Then Aerith comes along...ehem..cough....pink...cloud is so cute...he reminds me of my baby love...and THATS THAT. She complicates things between Cloud and Tifa...

Right now I would say I don't like how Cloud and Aerith meet...They don't even know each other...big turn off: be my bodyguard for a date...YOU JUST MET HIM...Of course, um, was Zack her bodyguard or something...I don't remeber their conversation, but i didn't get from him he liked her, and i got from her she like a guy she just met instantly want to date him...I don't like that character...

Anyways let's get down to basics:

1)Cloud and Tifa look HOT together, making them a better couple (and i think if they look so good together creators most likely couple)

2)There's that anticipation and waiting of "when are they gunna get together" which may be another prove they are the couple

3)they have a promise under the stars and cleris doesn't

4)they have a saying "I love you" problem, this was not even thought of for cleris relationship

5) they go way back

6)Tifa seems to love/more devoted to cloud, and not looks first why she likes him

7)Why is fate with them/bring them back together, they'll never be far away from each other

8)they've been through so much together in NIBELHEIM and in game...um...cloud and aerith didnt share any hardships while they got close

9)cleris story is boring, boy meets girl, girl jumps his bones (looks like first love?), they like each other, get close and girl dies..then u find out they werent even meant to be together (like hello, we already he and tifa are) because he was like Zack her baby love and was BIG illusion..

10)cloti story is boy had crush on childhood love, girl did not know, boy tries and join SOLDIER for her, their hometown born and they are seperated, fate/something brings them back together....tension, unspoken words but possible love, new girl intterupts, new girl dies, now cloti misunderstandings from disc 1 revealed, cloud goes mako stream...will they ever get together...so many barriers they had...finally after all that and their past , they get together in the end of disc 2 with their 7 days they spend together...oh yeah, beautiful stuff in disc 3...look so right for each other...

:mad: These reasons are so lame! and i hate the way this Cloti fan bags out Aeris, like her purpose in the game was pointless? :mad: :mad: :mad: really pissed off... just thought i should share my anger with you guyz.

Yeah, we've heard all these reasons before. ;) We've shot all of those reasons (and more) down in this forum: Evidence Against CloudxTifa We've also been debating a lot of those ideas with Cloti's in our debate forum, The Northern Crater, although we've been concentrating more on Advent Children there. Those Cloti ideas are also debated in my website: Destiny Fulfilled: Cloud and Aerith's Love as well as other Cleris websites like Hikari.

So feel free to browse through all the Cleris-ness! :cleris: There's many reasons to think the Cloti's are dead wrong. ;)

Funny how they don't like mentioning that Tifa lies to Cloud through almost the entire game.


Another thing, Clotis never seem to want to analyze CloAer moments. They just skip it entirely, and they expect people not to notice. :mad: Stupid!!

It was never about the two of them "looking good" together or anything as shallow and superficial as that. Real love isn’t something that spontaneously exists between two random people. (Previously posted in some other topic ^_^)

Wow...Those reasons are just...Well....Yikes. "They look HOT togethor"? That just sounded stupid...Plain and simple, CloTi's can be such idiots. I would rather die before agreeing with any of their insane reasoning.

well , but no matter what we say they never change their mind... i ever ask my friends about who is the one cloud love , they don't know about the original story but still they can say that the one who cloud love is aerith , but one of my friend say she doesn't matter with who cloud end up , if cloud end up with tifa , she says it because in the world we can't always end up with the one we love ( that's true , but still i just feel>x< which side she support ? aggh because she say she like tifa in my mind it seems like she prefer tifa to be with cloud :yawn: ) , in my country , the magazines ( it's not only one magazine but almost all of the magazines ) always say that tifa is the one cloud love not aerith , aerith's feeling to cloud is just curious , it make me want to bite the head of the people who wrote that :mad: I just can't see what their thought about cloti , one of magazines make the lifestream scene of tifa and cloud as if it's so romantic .

Ah, don't worry what a couple of misinformed writers think. It is simply their opinion. :P Besides, I can provide some pretty interesting info from more reliable sources that are pro-ClAeris. Newtype USA, the American counterpart of Newtype Japan, is more reliable than most American gaming mags, because of its tie to a Japanese gaming magazine. Both of these magazines are top-rated and Newtype USA carefully translates everything to get the most accurate reports from Japan. In its January 2005 issue, Newtype USA had this to say about Cloud in AC:

"Meanwhile, Cloud, the still-sullen protagonist who now runs a delivery service, remains guilt-ridden over lost-love Aeris."

Wow... a magazine of this caliber reporting that Aerith is Cloud's lost love? Veeeeery interesting.... ^_^

Also, Filter's "Best of Final Fantasy" episode was quite pro-ClAeris. CloudxAerith won Best HeroxHeroine. They even referred to Aerith as "Cloud's girlfriend". How cute is that??? :cleris: This same show even had a Valentine's Day episode which focused on video game romances. Guess who they showed together? Cloud and Aerith (the scene where Cloud lays Aerith to rest in the water) Awwww... :wub:

The latest magazine to follow suit is Neo, a British gaming magazine. Among pro-ClAeris statements in its article on Advent Children were:

* Referring to Aerith as "the woman Cloud loved"

* Stating, "The game ended with Cloud confronting and defeating Sephiroth, avenging the death of Aerith in the process".

* Under the section titled "Holding Out for a Hero", they had listed:

-- "Cloud Strife, who is still haunted by the death of Aeris"
-- "Tifa Lockhart, who is still pining for Cloud" (in other words, he never returned her feelings)
-- "Cloud's lover, Aeris"

Hi!! As you know from what I have just read, that was very disturbing about what the Cloti fans said about :cleris: !!!! First of all, :mad: NO!!!! That's not why Cloti should go together. They shouldn't be together at all :never: ...but anyway. Second, what Cloud and Tifa have is something that I don't call true love....

Before :cloud: had met :aeris: , Cloud's life was depressing and tainted, is what some people say, at first. People's lives were on the line, and it always came to a point when its if Cloud lets someone die, that puts a heavy burden on his shoulders. Sephiroth has also screwed up his past, and now he's just confused on what's going on in the world....He wanted someone to help him....

Now for Tifa -:tifa:, she is his childhood friend and NOTHING MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cloud never stated that he had feelings for her, and even though Tifa had been there for him through the beginning, she -to me- still doesn't understand how Cloud feel. All she knows is what she feel for him.....

And as for Aeris -:aeris: :fangirl: :lol:, you have here this beautiful yet mysterious woman who Fate just brought from out of nowhere, well really somewhere <_< , to enter Cloud's life. She came willing to show him his light, to show him that he had a life, something to live for. And that's when Cloud started opening up inside. Aeris came to show him the world...And the cute little date and flirts were a bonus to keep him cheered up :lol: ......

But when Aeris had died, EVERYTHING and EVERYONE had changed from the way they were, especially Cloud. And at that point, Cloud was going back to his lonely self...but deep inside, Aeris is still with to keep his light glowing....

That's all I have to say to the Cloti fans. Whatever you do don't let them bring out the anger in you, because if some people haven't noticed, there's a Cloti vs. Cleris war going on......

Cloud and Aeris are my most beloved game couples! Cloti fans make me sick! People who are Cloti fans, are brain washed! I thought Aeris was the heroine when i first played to game. :D
Just, everything about her, its so heroine style! :D
