No I don't think so....
There is a Cid in about every FF, and most of them are involved with some type of airship....
And besides 7's Cid has hair, X's doesnt XD :P

FF7 Cid is not bald, nor does he speak Al-Bhed. Also, FFX-2 does not smoke. Annnd, the fact that it's a completely different universe.
Yes, as it has been said, there are Cids in all the games.

Not the same, nope. Most FF games have had a mechanic named Cid in them. FFVII's Cid is my favorite though. Besides, he's only like 34 in the FFVII movie.

It's very funny but there is a Cid almost in every FF. For example in FF7, FF8 and FFX-2...but it's not the same person.

maybe cid from FFVII got warped to spira(llike tidus lol) and the lost his hair, nd quit smoking cause he didnt have any more cigerates to smoke since there arnt any, and he went and go this old airship that got beefed up while he was gone, and yeah, lol i dont know its fune to imagin lol
