Hi everyone! This thought has been on my mind lately......Whenever i play kingdom hearts, i hear the theme song and think about CloudxAeris...do your think their relationship matches the Kingdom Hearts theme song :wub: Its so cute!!

Honestly, I think it's a bit too much of a stretch for those two.

I think "Hikari" has more to do with Cloud, Aerith, connections, and light. "Simple and Clean" is just...honestly, I'm not exactly sure how it fits into KH. :ermm:

Just maybe I can see something with this part here, otherwise... *shrugs*

Yeah, it's more like a song about a break up. When I first listened to it, seriously, I didn't believe it'd have anything to do with the game.

I can agree with all of you. My friend said that it kind of went together, but it doesn't sound right...The songs cute in the slow version though :P .... Thanks for your comments!!!

I like simple and clean but I think the Japanese version describe it much better. Though I wonder why SE just didn't keep the opening as it was, like in anime openings. Real Emotion was also changed to english.

I WOULD SAY ITS ABOUT being in love for the first time,not knowing if its for real and how far to take it (because you are young)

Examples: "don't get me wrong I love you, but does that mean I have to meet your father?"

Meeting father= usually marriage so you can assume the couple is young.

Another : "Don't get me wrong I love you,but does that Mean I have to walk on water when we are older you'll understand"

Meaning= we are young,how far do we want to take this,how do we know if it is real.

I believe that the song matches more with the CXA pairing than the SXK(SoraXKairi) pairing.The lyrics are so Clerith :cleris:

Honestly, in my opinion, when I heard Simple and Clean, I didn't think the song was about a breakup. Far from it actually. To me it was a girl watching the boy she loves walk away to do something he has to do. She wants to beg him not to go, but she doesn't say anything and can only watch him leave. Its like how Kairi has to watch Sora leave her to go stop Ansem, or Aerith watching Cloud leave to go find Sephiroth. Neither of the girls want their guys to go, but they know its something that has to be done. At least, that's how I see it. To me, its a great song for either Kairi and Sora or :cleris:

Reading the lyrics on their own, no links to KH trying to be made, I really just see a song about two conflicting views on love from one couple. One side thinks they're expected to do the impossible just to prove their love, whereas the other half of the couple doesn't. He/she's just happy to be with their other half. :)

It's nice, but I don't really see the link between Simple and Clean and KH either. :lol:

Ahhhh there was a REALLY good KH story that was a clorith with this song...now I must go find it...

Simple and Clean doesn't match their love IMO as much as Hikari. :no: Why did they have to change the lyrics so much? Kinda loses the meaning...and it's not connected to the game's theme of "light" in any way.

hmmm. i thought it pretty much match but there were also other songs dat match da love cloud and aeris share with each other. you noe, i think there was a scene in KH that was kinda like the scene in FF7. when sora and kairi was reaching for eachother hands but it couldn't reach, it was almost like the scene when aerith was guiding her hand to help cloud out. :cleris:
