Hello there. I just wanted to have a discussion about people who lie about someone close to you. I know some of you might not know what I am talking so let me explain.

You see I have this friend, who seems to be known as a notorious liar. I just didn't realize she was, nor did I see her that way. Well over the summer at my camp that I help supervise, she told me some disturbing news. That one of my friends was doing drugs. Immediatly I became worried and we had many talks over the summer, yet it all ended over the school year. Now I'm beginning to think that she lied about my friend, and I would like to approach the one who was "on drugs" on the truth. I want to let him know that this girl might be spreading horrible rumors around him. How do you think I should go about this? Any advice would be really appreciated. Have any of you had this happen?

i think u shud ask him...just say sumone told u about a rumour ... nobody likes rumours of themselves so i think u shud find tht friend of urs and ask to their face if its true and if it aint.. talk to tht girl who made up the rumour but dont cause violence lol :D life is always full of confuzing matters :cloud: i have had the same happen to me but tht person waz lieing about my best friend...for some reason he wanted us to fall out :cloud: hope i waz a little help :yawn: if not i need to do more lessons in helping ppl :lol: lol

as him/her just be open about it cause if u dont then this will be something the whole school knows about..

i never really had a friend that did that before cause we are all open but ive seen it happen to someone :( and yes i stopped it :)

Wut the..... hey? :unsure: If someone was spreading rumors around about me I sure as hell would like to know. Lemme tell you you may think that you know a person but then they turn around and do something that makes you think twice. I have alot of experience in this sadly. Usually If I tried talking to the person they would lie and lie and lie about it so don't even bother going that way. Mainly you are going have to trust your gut instinct. Be careful with this "friend" she may end up hurting you. Goodluck!

There's so many people that lie to everyone :D
So they can't understand that when you lie, the person who you're lying to,you make her/him loose their trust on themselves and on yourself >_< I know how you feel..a lot of people/friends enjoy lying <_<

There's a good lie and a bad lie; It depends on how you use it and the situation
it was used.
