Well, his story was suposed to be ended in AC but he had his own side soty in KHII, even if it is not part of the FFVII saga, it still had a Cloud's story, so it wouldn't be strange if Cloud had an important role in DoC, since Cloud's FFVII's most popular and important character.

Honestly, I could really care less about Cloud's role in DoC. I'm really hoping Nomura is just keeping Cloud as a supporting secondary character and that's it. -_-

I don't think Cloud will do a huge role. AC's ending was implying he didn't take up Reeve's offer to work for him.

I agree with Real_Emotion. Its Vincent's game so Cloud should just stay as a secondary character :)

Like many other people have said, Cloud's story was supposed to end with AC. So I doubt his role will be much more than a cameo. We know he gets involved in the fighting somehow, though.

Does anyone think there's any possibility that Aerith's spirit might be shown briefly, like if Cloud goes to her Church?

Oh, BTW, so much for the CloTi theory that Tifa is pregnant...she looks SO ready to have a baby in that picture, doesn't she? Not to mention she's going to be FIGHTING most likely...stupid move if you've got a human life inside you.

Also, concerning Aerith, and her lack of being in this picture, I wonder if we'll learn a little more about her. Vin would have known Gast, wouldn't he? Perhaps briefly, and Ilfana too. I hope we at least learn more about those two. I just find the lack of Aerith in that group picture quite disturbing, since all of the main cast are there except Seph. I'll bet they decided not to put her in because then they'd have to put her in the game helping or something. <_< Stupid SE...Hmph

I think that Aerith would be mentioned briefly at the very least. Or there might be a reference to her because to have her completely disappear would I think disappoint the Aerith fans, regardless of this being Vincent's story. If everyone else is mentioned or has a cameo, I don't see the harm in someone at least mentioning her. Besides, she and Vincent WERE friends after all; he wouldn't have worn the ribbon in her memory if she wasn't.

But alas, I digress. I think Cloud will be a secondary character but he might steal the spotlight again even with a brief cameo since, like others have said, he is FFVII's most popular and revered character. Everybody wants to know what Cloud is up to, which is why AC was made. Poor Cloud, eveybody wants him. XD;; They should record his whole life, ala The Truman Show. :lmao:

There IS mention of an ancient materia that is white/clear and it seems to be important to the story. It COULD be Aeris's white materia but that is one theory. IF that is true, Aeris may play a bigger part in the story than most think.

I agree, Difinity. I would expect there to be at least a reference to Aerith in the story, if not a brief cameo. Aerith's not in that picture, but Tifa was never pictured in the KH2 scans, either.

If Cloud and Tifa hadn't hooked up by Advent Children, I really doubt they'll hook up in a cameo in Vincent's story. :giggle: If SE wanted the two of them to hook up, it would have happened in Cloud's story.

Much more can happen yet. What if Crisis Core starts before AC, but ends after DoC? What if Cloud finishes what the Planet wants him to do in DoC, so that Aerith and Zack don't save Cloud next time he gets killed? :whistle: What if Cloud is still wearing the pink ribbon under his sleeve?

There's no single way for the Compilation to end, so everybody should quit worrying. SE didn't let us down in AC, so there's no reason to think they'll let us down now. :wink:

I don´t think Cloud will have a big role in DC... But I can remember the review of the last trailer (the Jump Festa one, which we haven´t seen yet :yawn: ) where Vincent and Yuffie said a couple of times " go where Cloud is" or something like this :ermm: .... Although it doesn´t mean anything :P

I think Aerith will be mentioned, at least (I hope so, for SE´s sake :angry: )

I doubt that anything particularly important will happen to Cloud in DoC. Probably not in any FF7 spinoff, for that matter. Square Enix tends to be very neutral and vague about Cloud's love life... I will look forward to some Aeris involvement though. I really want for her to play a bigger role!

There are A LOT of people who wouldn´t find unexpected Cloud hooking up with Tifa :P ... And I don´t think Nomura has the guts for ending the whole LT thing -_-... Cloud dying is more unexpected and he can do it without resolvinf the LT directly ;)

It would also be unexpected for Cloud to die and be reunited with Aerith. It would also be unexpected for the entire human race to die off after DoC, even though we know it happens at some point. It would also be unexpected for Tifa and Barret to hook up. It would also be unexpected for Aerith to be resurrected. It would also be unexpected for Sephiroth to admit he was wrong and help save the Planet. It would also be unexpected for humans to evolve back into a new Cetra race.

Cloud ending up with Tifa is very expected, but I don't believe it'll happen. What would be unexpected is if Cloud married someone completely new... Although Nomura probably doesn't have that in mind. :D Maybe he meets a girl just like Aeris (like the flowergirl in FF Tactics!)!

Actually, they mention her name ONCE in KH. It was the first time Sora ends up in Traverse Town. Sora is with Leon and Yuffie and Aerith is with Donal and Goofy (Heh, "Yuffie" rhymes with "Goofy"). When the heartless start attacking, Leon says something like "Yuffie, go wait with Aerith!". I'm SURE I heard that :P

Bah, don't even get me STARTED on the whole "Tee-dus" thing. That's just about the worst name ever. It's like something you would name your dog. He'll always be "Tie-dus" to me :D Makes more sense. Tie-dus=tide=water=Tidus ^_^ It's better that way.
