Isn't it funny how they never showed the scene when Aerith told Cloud she wanted to meet him?

Here's what I think happened.

Aerith : (smiles and leans forward) I want to meet you, Cloud
Cloud : But I'm right here
Aerith : (smiles and shakes her head) I know, I know... what I mean is... (she stands up and sits next to him. Aerith moves in closer until they are nose to nose, and she gazes deeply into his eyes. Cloud's eyes widen slightly at this sudden move, but he doesn't move, and just stares back at her) I want to...meet you.
(Cloud blinks. Aerith smiles at him again and leans in. She kisses him softly on the lips. Though surprised, Cloud closes his eyes when their lips touch. Aerith pulls away slightly, just enough to let him catch his breath. cloud opens his eyes slowly, smiles and leans in again to kiss her. This time the kiss is more passionate, as Cloud pulls her in closer. When they pull apart, Aerith is left breathless. She smiles and stares lovingly into his eyes. Cloud does the same.)
(Ding! The ride shakes slightly and stops. Cloud suddenly snaps out of it. He quickly lets go of Aerith,gets up and walks out. Aerith sighed with an "oh well" expression, though a little disappointed. She gets up and follows him. Cloud waits for her outside, though his eyes are cast on the ground.)
Aerith : (does her classic pose, and smiles) I had fun tonight. Let's go together again. (Cloud doesn't look up at her. Her smile fades and she stands normally again.)
(Short pause)
Aerith : You don't like being with me?
(Cloud looks up.)

Cloud : (puffs up his chest, and nods) Yeah
Aerith : (sees through him, and giggles) Oh, don't tease me like that! (Cloud smiles and winks at her.)

Cloud : (shakes his head, his expression softening for her) That's not it
Aerith : (smiles) I'm glad. Next time we come, let's take our time and go on more rides.
(Cloud continues to stare at her with that look.)

Aerith : Oh, look at the time. We'd better get going.
(Cloud nods and smiles one last time at her, and they leave.) :cleris:

See, I made it romantic either way! Their true expression isn't shown, so Cloud telling Aerith he doesn't like being with her could have been a joke! It doesn't end like "Yeah, I don't like you 'cos I like Tifa"! :no:
(Funny how they aren't shown with mouths either :P)

That's really both the fun and frustrating part about games like these. It's fun because you can imagine how things go to your liking (better graphics and voice acting have almost destroyed this possibility in later games), but it's frustrating if you want to know what the creators meant for such a scene to portray.

FFVII made it doubly hard by having no voice acting along with their lego graphics. :lol:

That's a really adorable take on their date, though, daydreamer! ^_^
