Someone from the site translated Cid's profile and it read as:

Now, one thing that intrigue me was....which he named after his wife.
*cough...cough* His wife? I don't remember any mention of this in AC. So, since its name after the Sierra, would his wife be Shera??

I'm pretty sure that it's Shera. Who else? I knew that they would end up together, but I thought that Cid might take a while to become a married man.

One thing that never got talked about much is that the name Sierra is really the same as Shera in Japanese. It just got changed to "Shera" in the English translation. We confirmed that with Wilhelm several months ago.
