Title: An Advice Or Issues Or Sommat-like-that Forum?

Oye!

I was browsing the Lifestream and noticed that there are more than a few topics there asking for advice and describing people's troubles, problems and issues in life. The Lifestream is for serious discussions and debates, so these don't exactly fit here...but I guess I understand why people post them there. The Lifestream's the closest forum we have to one of those.

But as I said, they don't fit.

So whaddya guys and gals think about that? It can be in the Social group too.

If you (and staff) agree, we just have to decide on a name for it....

I think it should stay the same. Besides people do discuss about their issues and some people give them advices. I've just visited the place and their topics were serious and people discussed it. Don't you think it's okay that way?

I've always seen the Lifestream as more of a place to purely debate issues. Personal problems aren't really things that would be considered debate material, IMHO.

I'm not sure how it's done on other forums, but perhaps a separate sub-forum within the "General Chat" should be made for more serious personal issues?

I'm with Lynn there. Plus, if we separate them we could probably encourage more of each type of discussion.
