I never keep updated with DC news, sadly, but what does everyone think about the clothes the new girls are sporting? I find them more FFX/X-2-ish for me than FFVII-ish... but I guess it must be a phase Nomura is in.

GAk! It so ticks me off that you can see Lurecia in SEPHIROTH! Though it proves it! I was right, Sephiroth has Lurecia's mouth and nose wile he has Vincent's face shape and eye shape!

So is the Lucrecia look-a-like's actual name 'Shalua Rui'? And woman with the ugly red outfit named 'Rosso'? And I'm very interested in Yuffie's role. She's appearing in a lot of the scans, so it has me thinking she may be the lead female role. Which, I might add, that I love that idea. :fangirl:

Anyway, I REALLY want to know the story of this game. I will seriously kill off every person working for Square if Vincent and Yuffie show some kind of feelings for each other though since that would be HORRIBLY out of character for Vincent. Kinda like Paine turning into a Rikku wannabe in FFX-2.

As for the outfits, I don't mind. They used to remind me of FFX-2 but DC now has it's own style. The DG people all have some kind of matching glowing lines on their outfits and it's kinda cool. And I'm a fan of dark red hair. *Pets her own* :wub:

Personally, the game never gave me the impression of Vincent and Yuffie being an item... but they are a popular fanon pairing, maybe SE will give a harmless scene or two for the shippers.

And exactly, Anti-R. I had NEVER gotten the impression they would be a couple at all. She is way too young and bouncy for a guy like him. And since seeing LO, I am really getting angry at the OOCness. I am sure they will put in some nice scenes showing their friendship but that's all I expect.

And I certainly hope they don't add some suggestive scenes. My poor Vincent... :cry:

I just think Yuffie and Vincent spent FFVII not talking to each other much at all ^^. Which is a bit of surprise for me that the two same characters were making a conversation in AC and in DoC. Heck, in Reminisence, she managed to convince Vincent to give Cloud a call.

Anyways, let's see what happens. There's this fanon thing going on about Yuffie having a crush on Vincent. I wanted to see if SE's going to stand up to that.

Yep...the biggest exchange I can think of is when she insults him after he's freshly risen from his coffin.

i'm not saying that he has to be with Yuffie, i'm just saying that ending Vincent's story with Vincent STILL leading a solitary life is just harsh and anticlimatic.

I don't mind if he's still alone at the end of the game. Hey, Cloud ended up alone too didn't he? What I'm looking forward to are deeper insights into Vinnie's character...it is his story after all!

Random thoughts:
-There's a blur of pink on Yuffie's shuriken in the first scan...is that Aerith's ribbon? :unsure: She looks awesome on that scooter!
-That sexy lady in pink...hey I could see her with Vincent! She kinda reminds me of Quistis!

Yes. Yuffie kept the pink ribbon tied in her shuriken from AC... it's one of my proofs that she's the Mysterious Ninja when she first showed up. ^^
