Here's my very first music video. It's not very professional or anything, and it's quite far from being good, but I thought I'd share it with you guys anyway. It's an AC Cleris one also containing a few clips from the game, so for those who haven't seen AC, don't watch it if you don't want spoilers. :P
I chose to put "Eternally" by Utada Hikaru in it. I thought the song went well with what Cloud and Aerith's relationship portrays. :fangirl:

First and foremost, the opening already blew me away.
Strategic use of that particular scene you know? ;) Usually people put it towards the middle-end of their vidz, but you opened yours with it, awesome! :party2:

Secondly, the music is great, the melody is hopeful, yet a little sad :cray:

Thirdly, you used the best scenes from AC and FFVII! I love them all..and the transition between scenes are very smooth too!

Last but not least, I expected nothing less from my rabid Nazi sista, right? :pro: hehe

Firstly... I don't believe this is your first video. Liar! *watches your pants go up in flames*

This is too beautiful. I have every desire to fix up a subtitle file for it to watch the lyrics as the video plays. The scenes play out wonderfully according to the music, and I loved how you intergrated the FMVs with the AC shots. Nothing look out of place at all!

The ending completely blew me away, though. I was wondering how you would use that shot, and you used it absolutely brilliantly! :huggle: I found myself hitting my head and wondering, "Crap, why didn't I think of that?!!" :lol:

I agree with STA, you used the scene differently from how one usually would. :cheer:

Of course, I also had the opinions of my younger sister. She was a big help with her suggestions. It was fun learning how to work the Windows Movie Maker though. I'm really glad I decided to play around with it.

I think I wanted to portray the whole idea of "connection", of Aerith still being there for Cloud even though she's not physically there. Therefore, I just thought that opening with that scene would work well. Likewise, I also used the scene of Cloud returning to the church at the end as reinforcement of the "still connected" idea.

I've been meaning to ask, how did you make two scenes overlap one another? That's something that could've been really useful in my video, but I couldn't figure out how to do it on Nero Vision Express. Did you use Windows Movie Maker to do it??

I strongly believe that through their relationship, SE was trying to portray the theme of life and death and how death isn't a barrier. MoTP even stated that death isn't truly an end to life. It's tragic that Aerith died...but that doesn't matter one bit concerning her relationship with Cloud. They'll always be together because of the special bond they share. No matter how physically far apart they are, he can feel her presence strongly because she's very close by. Just as KH portrays: connections, connections...
