Title: Budou Taikai
Description: Martial Arts Tournament
SweetJanie - November 5, 2005 12:22 PM (GMT)
Setsuna was walking calmly down the street. She was still in her school uniform, but she never really cared for what she was wearing. Actually, she was supposed to go back to the orphanage, but she saw a kitten outside school and started following it. Setsuna was easily hipnotized by cute creatures, such as dogs, cats, birds, rabbits... even frogs, if she saw one.
When the small cat was about to jump to a wall, a guy kicked it aside. Some other men that was with him laughed almost histerically. Setsuna frowned angerly and, without thinking, ran to them. She jumped up and turned around in mid air and kicked his face. The guy fell back and she landed gracefully, in the phoenix position, with her arms turned back and pointing up, like wings, and with her body close to the ground.
"You bitch!!"
When the next guy ran to her she put her ams down, joined her hands, and hit him with a powerful uppercut, then kicked him in the chin before he could fall. She dodged a punch from the third and hit him with four slaps down in a row, and kicked his feet, making him fall. The forth guy just ran away, screaming for an ambulance.
Setsuna got up, cleaned and arranged her clothes and looked around.
"Kitty?"
When she spotted it not too far away on the wall, licking its fur, she walked over to it, and pet it lightly. She had forgotten all about the guys on the ground, moaning and muttering curses, and was smiling happily for being able to pet the creature.

Kazuki silently walked the streets of Japan, his head filled with daydreams. He'd done well in training that day, but now found himself bored, never quite knowing what to do. Sure, he had friends, and possibly could have spent time with them, but right then he wasn't in the mood to. They talked about the same things, and did the same things. He craved something exciting. Nothing unusual ever happened.
"Hey, wait up!" A voice called out.
He turned, and smiled at the girl who was running over to him, out of breath. He'd known the girl for years, and she'd always been nice, although she had a temper at times. Finally catching up, she stood there, trying to catch her breath.
"Kazuki, I've been chasing after you for nearly five minutes! I swear, your head's always in the clouds. I was hoping you'd walk me home."
He gave a somewhat sheepish smile. It was true, he did tend to space out often. Giving a shrug, he nodded to the girl.
"It's no problem, I'd be happy to help you."
Paladin's Heart - November 6, 2005 11:40 PM (GMT)
The calm streets of Japan was broken by the sounds of hollow footsteps of a girl, who was walking home from her school. She had once again gotten lectured for not wearing her school uniform to school. She cursed under her breath and sighed.
"Wearing the school uniform encourages feelings of pride and community...blahh blahh Who cares..."
She looked to the ground and continued to mumble curses from under her breath, unable to see where she was walking. She shoved her school bag over her shoulders and then suddenly bumped into a girl. She looked up to see that the girl was petting a cat. Shizune furrowed her eyebrows at the girl.
"I'm sorry..." Shizune mumbled, she wasn't very good at apologizing. "Hey, I know you from school...what's your name again?"
Tacofoolio - November 7, 2005 12:31 AM (GMT)
Kazuki walked with the girl, listening to her talk about various topics. It didn't matter that he didn't say anything, because she jumped from one topic to another without pausing to catch a breath. He smiled, as he learned of everything from the newest bands, to what she ate for lunch.
They finally reached her home and she thanked him, teasing him good naturedly about him needing to get his head out of the clouds long enough to find his way home. Mockingly, she blew him a kiss, which caused a tinge of red to stain his cheeks. Even though he knew it wasn't serious, he tended to get nervous with girls.
Continuing down the streets, he once again lost himself in thoughts of what he could be doing right then.
SweetJanie - November 7, 2005 12:57 PM (GMT)
Setsuna felt someone bump into her. She looked to her left, and saw a girl whose face wasn't new. But she didn't knew where she saw her from...
"I'm sorry..." the girl mumbled "Hey, I know you from school...what's your name again?"
"My name is Setsuna." she said, trying to sound polite, and made a small bow.
As she did that, the kitten jumped down from the wall and started walking down the sidewalk again. Setsuna turned around and ran to it, but the cat got scared and started running.
"Kitten!!"
Setsuna started running after the kitten, rushing through the crowds and jumping walls, invading private areas and tripping into other cats. She was getting tired when the kitten ran straight to a young man. The guy opened his legs to let the rushing cat pass, but Setsuna, that was almost catching it, jumped down, too.
The girl threw herself down and got stuck between his legs, he fell down, and the kitten escaped. She sat up and cleaned her forehead. Her arms and knees had bruises and scratches, but she didn't seem to care.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you fall, I'm really sorry..."
She got up and looked down at her legs.
"The nuns are going to be worried..."
(OOC: She bumped into Kasuki xD)
Tacofoolio - November 7, 2005 05:52 PM (GMT)
Still walking along, Kazuki barely noticed the kitten running towards him, and then casually spread his legs apart to let it by. His eyes widened as a second later, a girl threw herself between his legs as well. She got stuck, and Kazuki lost his balance, and fell to the ground, still feeling stunned.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you fall, I'm really sorry..."
Kazuki shook his head a bit, and looked over at her. He saw her stand up and she looked down at her legs, which Kazuki noticed were full of cuts and bruises.
"The nuns are going to be worried..."
"Are you ok? Was that your cat you were after?" He asked, getting up and dusting himself off.
He was fine, so he turned back to the girl. She was very cute, now that he had a chance to look at her, and probably a little younger than him. Her hair was very long and pretty, and seemed to be a school girl, judging by her uniform.
As he looked her over, his cheeks began to redden, and he turned his eyes towards the ground.
"Is there something I can do to help?"
SweetJanie - November 7, 2005 09:31 PM (GMT)
"Are you ok? Was that your cat you were after?" the man asked, as he got up.
She looked in the direction the kitten had ran away, with one finger over her mouth.
"No... But I really liked it, and I wanted to bring it home with me so I could feed it."
She sighed and looked at him. He was blushing, but she didn't realize that.
"Is there something I can do to help?"
Setsuna started walking towards him and looked at him curiously.
"Is that a blush? Why are you blushing? Did I made you embarassed? Was it...was it because I made fall?
She had now a mixture of guilt and sadness on the look on her face. And now the bruises were starting to get itchy and burning lightly.
Tacofoolio - November 7, 2005 10:22 PM (GMT)
The girl walked closer to him, a curious look on her face. As she studied his face, Kazuki felt himself grow even more nervous. A Taekwondo student is supposed to know how to behave in any situation, and Kazuki knew how behave in most situations, unless a girl was involved.
When she asked him if he was blushing, immediately his face grew even redder. He then noticed the sad look on her face, and quickly smiled at her.
"Oh, I'm just red from training hard earlier! It's ok, I'm fine, it's not your fault. I should've been paying attention." He gave an awkward laugh, realizing haw pathetic his excuse was. He just didn't want to see her sad over something as silly as his inability to talk to a girl.
"Anyway, are you going to be ok? Those bruises look painful..." He said, changing the subject quickly.
Paladin's Heart - November 7, 2005 11:59 PM (GMT)
Shizune stared off into the distance where Setsuna ran.
"She ditched me! FOR A CAT?! What a jerk!" Shizune cursed.
Then, it hit her. That was HER cat! Shizune ran off to where she saw Setsuna run. Calling her name, she soon reached up to her, talking to a boy who was covered in bruises.
"SETSUNA!" she cried. "Hey, where's that cat that you were holding? and Geez what happened to you?" Shizune asked, giving a confused look. She turned to then turned to the boy.
"And who the HELL are you?"
SweetJanie - November 8, 2005 07:36 PM (GMT)
Setsuna smiled kindly to Kasuki, feeling happy with his answer.
"Well, not really. It seems I'm used to it..."
"SETSUNA!!"
She turned around, following the sound, and saw the girl she met earlier.
"Hey, where's that cat that you were holding? and Geez what happened to you?"
I jumped down to grab it but it ran away...that's how I got like this, I think..."
"And who the HELL are you?" asked Shizune, looking at Kasuki.
Setsuna's eyebrows frowned at the way the girl talked to him. But she kept her cool attitude. But then she remembered she didn't knew who he was, too. The only think she knew was...
"You're a friend, right? Setsuna's friend?" she asked, pointing at herself, with a small smile.
Tacofoolio - November 8, 2005 08:12 PM (GMT)
Kazuki backed up when he heard the girl shouting at him. He wasn't sure why the girl was so angry at him, and he stood there a moment, trying to decide what to say.
"You're a friend, right? Setsuna's friend?"
He smiled at her, and nodded. She really was quite cute.
"I'm Kazuki, and yes, I'm a friend. Is something wrong?" He said politely.
Paladin's Heart - November 8, 2005 09:43 PM (GMT)
"I'm Kazuki, and yes, I'm a friend. Is something wrong?" He said politely.
Shizune became confused. She furrowed her eyebrows and pouted, but she soon lightened up her mood. She saw how Kazuki and Setsuna reacted to her actions. She regretted for acting so rudely in front of them. Once again, she tried to apologize.
"I'm..." Shizune mumbled. She had it in her mind, she was going to say it, but it never came out. "I have an attitude problem, so umm...yeah."
Shizune mentally cursed at herself. She wondered why it was so hard to apologize to someone. She then got back to the point to why she followed Setsuna anyways.
"So, the cat ran away? Which direction did it run off to?" She calmly asked. She then remembered her manners. How rude it was to talk to someone without even introducing yourself, but then again, Being rude was in Shizune's blood. It was also a bad habit for her.
"Oh yeah! I'm Shizune!" She said, cheerfully. From now on, Shizune made a promise to herself to that she'd lighten up and be more kind to people.
Tacofoolio - November 9, 2005 01:43 AM (GMT)
"It's nice to meet you, Shizune. Don't worry, the cat should be fine. It just ran past me." He said, with a smile.
Shizune had seemed to cheer up, and he was happy for it. She appeared to be a tough type who didn't like it when things weren't as she liked, but the fact she was willing to lighten up showed she was willing to be change to fit the situation, a good quality to have.
"So, do you girls know each other?" Kazuki asked, glancing at the both of them. They seemed very different from each other, but that wasn't a reason they couldn't be friends. Yin and Yang, a balance of two opposites, that worked perfectly together.
He shook his head a bit, realizing he was thinking too much about things, like usual.
Paladin's Heart - November 9, 2005 10:20 PM (GMT)
"So, do you girls know each other?"
"No. not really. I only recognize her from school." For the first time in Shizune's life (or what seemed to be), She smiled, It felt good too. Breaking out of all the frowning and anger felt good. It was a nice change to Shizune and her attitude.
"How about you Kazuki? I've never seen you before..." Shizune asked. She took off her hat to get a better view of everyone. The sunlight stung her eyes a little, since her eyes have been shaded from the light for so long. She then realized Kazuki was a guy.
"WHOA! HE'S A GUY!" Shizune exclaimed, but mumbled to herself, hoping that no one had heard her.
Tacofoolio - November 9, 2005 11:53 PM (GMT)
Instantly, Kazuki flushed crimson, obviously she meant that she'd thought he was a girl. That was the first time he'd ever known of someone thinking he was a girl, but now he was starting to wonder if he really did look like one. Looking down at himself, he thought he looked like a guy, although maybe he needed to bulk up. He was lean, but that had been useful for the speed he needed in Taekwondo.
"Yes, I'm a guy..." he stated awkwardly.
He felt like running away, but knew that would be rude. Quickly, he thought back to what she had said earlier.
"I already graduated, I'm just walking home from training. Actually, I just met Setsuna right now, when her cat ran past me." Kazuki said, smiling at Setsuna. He then smiled at Shizune, hoping that she wouldn't further comment about thinking he was a girl. He shifted his weight from foot to foot nervously.
Paladin's Heart - November 10, 2005 12:50 AM (GMT)
Shizune's eyes widened. "Umm...you wern't supposed to hear that..."
She turned her face to the side in embarassement and she felt her cheeks burning up. She felt so stupid! Shizune cursed under her breath, then turned back to Kazuki to apologize.
"I'm really Sorry! Its just that I've been wearing this hat for oh so many years and I couldn't see very well...and I'm just really sorry!" Shizune looked down to her feet, and began to blush again. "Gosh...I feel so stupid!" She said to herself.
After a few moments of brief silence, Shizune decided to change the topic. She then remembered what Kazuki said before.
"Training? What type?" She said curiously. In the acadamy, Shizune practised Taijutsu and a little bit of Ninjutsu. She could also do a bit of hand seals to perform Jutsu's (AN: Is that okay?)
SweetJanie - November 10, 2005 08:53 PM (GMT)
(OOC: uh huh, it is xD you can do anything, as long as in the Tournament itself you only use body combat)
Setsuna smiled happily when Kazuki smiled at her. She could never mistake him for a girl, but the situation didn't shock her at all. Setsuna didn't knew why, though...
Her knees and arms started to sting, again, and she looked around. She didn't knew where she was, and she needed to either get back to the orphanage or to a hospital.
"Hum... Kasuki-san? I don't know where the orphanage is, or where the hospital is... Do you know what's closer to us?"
Tacofoolio - November 10, 2005 09:18 PM (GMT)
"Oh, I've trained in Taekwondo for years. It's a great art to learn!" Kazuki said, happy to speak of something other than what they were talking about.
"Hum... Kasuki-san? I don't know where the orphanage is, or where the hospital is... Do you know what's closer to us?"
Kazuki's eyes widened, he didn't realize that she was an orphan. He quickly tried to remember where the orphanage was at. He thought he knew, but if she was hurt, would it be better for her to see a doctor?
"I think the orphanage is closer, are you ok though? If you're hurt, maybe the hospital would be better..." He frowned in worry. "I'll take wherever's best, it doesn't matter."
SweetJanie - November 10, 2005 11:32 PM (GMT)
"I think the orphanage is closer, are you ok though? If you're hurt, maybe the hospital would be better..." Kazuki frowned in worry. "I'll take you wherever's best, it doesn't matter."
Setsuna cocked her head to the side, thinking about it. If she went to the hospital the nuns would notice her absence and start to worry. Maybe it was best to go to the orphanage after all.
"Will you take me to the orphanage? They can take care of the bruises there."
She smiled and got closer to Kazuki. He was really tall, well... compared to her. Looking up at him, she smiled happily.
"Thank you! You are really kind in helping me out even after making you trip..."
Paladin's Heart - November 11, 2005 02:35 AM (GMT)
"Taekwondo? That's wicked! Right now at the acadamy I study Taijutsu!"
Shizune noticed that Setsuna was getting closer to Kazuki and constantly smiled at him. Then, she smiled. 'How cute...' she thought, and giggled.
"Will you take me to the orphanage? They can take care of the bruises there."
She turned her head attentively towards the two of them. "Hey, would you guys mind if I tag along? I have to go run an errand and the place is just past the orphanage..." She paused for a moment, to think back to what she had said.
"Hey...if you guys would want to walk alone together thats fine...but I was wondering if I could tag along..." Shizune winked.
Tacofoolio - November 11, 2005 06:28 PM (GMT)
"Taekwondo? That's wicked! Right now at the acadamy I study Taijutsu!"
"That's great, I really think more girls should study martial arts." Kazuki grinned.
"Will you take me to the orphanage? They can take care of the bruises there."
"Of course I will, it's no trouble." He said, nodding to her.
As she stepped closer, Kazuki began to feel nervous and unsure again. She continued to smile at him however, so perhaps it was simply because she was so friendly.
"Thank you! You are really kind in helping me out even after making you trip..."
"It's fine, I wasn't hurt. If anything, I feel bad that you got hurt." Even if he had been hurt, he still would've helped her. It would be a terrible reason to refuse helping.
"Hey, would you guys mind if I tag along? I have to go run an errand and the place is just past the orphanage..."
Kazuki started to nod when she continued.
"Hey...if you guys would want to walk alone together thats fine...but I was wondering if I could tag along..." Shizune winked.
He looked down a bit in embarrassment. Quickly nodding, he began to stammer a bit as he spoke.
"It's fine with me if you go! I don't see any reason why you shouldn't. Especially since it's on your way."
Still tinged with redness, Kazuki nodded to the girls.
"Shall we go?"
Paladin's Heart - November 12, 2005 12:03 AM (GMT)
"It's fine with me if you go! I don't see any reason why you shouldn't. Especially since it's on your way."
"Oh, Okay." She agreed.
"Shall we go?"
"Yeah, of course!"
'Dude...He really blushes alot.' Shizune thought.
Her curiousity always brought her around places, even places she was not supposed to see or know. As they were walking, Shizune stared at Kazuki and studied him. She was trying to figure out why this guy blushed so much. To not arouse any suspicion, she attempted to make conversation between the 3 of them.
"So..umm...Are you guys good at hand to hand combat?" She asked, then Shizune came up with a answer to her question.
'Is he nervous around girls?' She thought.
Shizune walked up in front of Kazuki and started to walk backwards. She squinted her eyes and briefly stuided his face. Then, she put her hands behind her back and leaned forward to Kazuki's face, to see if he would blush or not.
SweetJanie - November 12, 2005 03:32 PM (GMT)
"So..umm...Are you guys good at hand to hand combat?"
Setsuna wondered if she meant martial arts. Yes, she was good at that, or, at least, she could defend herself. But she decided to wait for Kasuki's answer. But Shizune was now infront of him, staring at his face. Kasuki started to blush, again, but he had a certain expression... a surprised one. Setsuna, not realizing he was only surprised by the girl's stare, and thinking he was feeling threatened, took action.
In a second and a half, she made half a circle with both hands from the front to the back, the right arm up and the left down. When her hands joined together she pulled them forward, will all her strenght, at Shizune. The girl luckily noticed the attack and shielded herself with both arms. She fell back and Setsuna readied her next attack. With her right arm pointing at the fallen Shizune, the other was pointing at the oposite direction and up. She was walking slowly around Shizune, ready to perform the Rain Dance attack.
Paladin's Heart - November 12, 2005 05:16 PM (GMT)
From the corner of her eye, Shizune could see Setsuna charging an attack at her. It was too late for her to make a counter-attack, so she crossed her arms for a full-block. Setsuna must've hit her with all her strength, which made Shizune lose balance and fall backwards. With her right arm pointing at Shizune, the other was pointing at the oposite direction and up. She was walking slowly around her.
"WTF?!" Shizune cursed.
Quickly, Shizune sat up, spread one leg out and put her hands between her legs for balance. She turned around in a circle, performing a sweep-kick. She attempted to make Setsuna fall, and accomplished. Shizune stood up and got into a fighting stance, putting her fists up towards her face one behind the other.
"What the HELL was that for?!"
The position that Shizune took was to do a hand seal quickly, then perform a jutsu. Shizune stared at Setsuna with her eyebrows furrowed, and her teeth clenched. If Setsuna was ready to make another attack, Shizune was ready for it.
SweetJanie - November 12, 2005 07:37 PM (GMT)
As Setsuna fell, she hit her injured arm on the ground. It was now hurting more than before, and her right eye twitched with the pain. But she ignored it as much as she could and, glaring at Shizune, she slowly got up and stood in her fighting position.
Her left arm was half stretched forward, the right was in front of her chest, her right leg was keeping most of her weight, while the left one was standing only on her tiptoes.
Setsuna decided to wait for Shizune's first move. She was a good fighter, better than Setsuna thought she was.
Tacofoolio - November 12, 2005 09:43 PM (GMT)
Kazuki had started to blush when Shizune surprisingly started walking in front of him, looking up at him. He wasn't sure what to do, when suddenly Setsuna attacked Shizune. His eyes widened as Shizune fell, and then swept Setsuna's feet out from under her.
The two girls stood in agressive stances, and Kazuki quickly got between the two girls.
"Hold on, what's going on?" He wasn't sure what caused this, was Setsuna trying to show that she did know hand to hand combat? However, he didn't want to see the girls hurt each other, and they seemed prepared to. Fighting wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but this wasn't the time or place.
Paladin's Heart - November 13, 2005 03:53 AM (GMT)
Kazuki went in between the 2 of them, and Setsuna was wincing in pain, which made Shizune retreat from her stance and put back her hat on. She put her hands in her pocket and started to cool down. She noticed that Kazuki DID start to blush again when her face was looking at him. She stared at him for a brief moment and made her conclusion. Then then turned her head back at Setsuna, who was still in her stance.
"Dude, why did you attack me?" Shizune sternly said. Although she cooled down a little, under her hat her eyebrows were still furrowed.
"Did you misunderstand something or get misinterpreted?" She had to get to the bottom of this. She wouldn't just get attacked and let it go! Shizune was the type of person who didn't take crap from nobody.
SweetJanie - November 13, 2005 11:47 PM (GMT)
"Hold on, what's going on?" asked Kazuki, as he put himself between the girls.
Setsuna didn't look at him. Her eyes where on Shizune, watching every move. But she simply put her hands on her pockets, still frowning at her, though.
"Dude, why did you attack me? Did you misunderstand something or get misinterpreted?"
Setsuna, too, dropped her fighting stance. Now she looked at Kazuki first, then at Shizune. Something, like instinct, was telling her she shouldn't answer the girl.
"Did you had any intention to attack kasuki? If not, then I apologize."
Paladin's Heart - November 14, 2005 10:04 PM (GMT)
Shizune snorted with laughter. "Attack Kazuki? Why would I?"
Shizune tried to think up every possible reason why Setsuna would think that she would attack Kazuki. She laughed for only a brief moment untill she stopped. She stared at Setsuna and gave a weak smile.
"It's alright...I guess you misinterpreted. Heh."
Shizune shurgged her shoulders and let it go...this time. She walked pass Kazuki and moved her eyes towards him. She sighed, followed by a smirk.
'Yep, he MUST tend to get nervous around girls.' Shizune thought to herself.
She kept on walking, expecting the other 2 to follow behind her.
Tacofoolio - November 14, 2005 10:51 PM (GMT)
Kazuki was somewhat stunned. He wasn't sure what made Setsuna think that she was going to attack him. He was confused, but also oddly flattered. It was sweet that she wanted to protect him, although unnecessary.
"I'm not quite sure what made you think she'd attack me, but I appreciate you wanting to help me, it was very nice of you. We still need to get you to the orphanage, are you going to be ok until we get there?"
Something about Setsuna seemed quite unusual, but Kazuki couldn't quite figure out what it was. She certainly was kind and thoughtful, perhaps a little brutal if she found reason for it, but still very sweet. There was definately more to her than met the eye, he decided.
As Shizune continued walking, Kazuki smiled down at Setsuna before following.
"Do you need some help, or will you be fine?"
SweetJanie - November 14, 2005 11:25 PM (GMT)
"I'm not quite sure what made you think she'd attack me, but I appreciate you wanting to help me, it was very nice of you. We still need to get you to the orphanage, are you going to be ok until we get there?"
She only smiled at him. Kazuki looked at Shizune, then back at her.
"Do you need some help, or will you be fine?"
Setsuna's smile faded, only to be replace by a curious look.
"Help? But you're already helping me to find the way to the orphanage." she smiled again "What could be more helpful than that?"
Smiling, she started following Shizune, completely forgetting about her wounds, again.
Paladin's Heart - November 15, 2005 02:33 AM (GMT)
She could hear the footsteps of Setsuna and Kazuki following closely behind her. She slowed down a little so that she could let them catch up to her. When they caught up, she started to walk again, while she was looking at Setsuna. She was a good fighter and could defend herself pretty well. Shizune was surprised that she could keep up with her even with those wounds of hers. She closed her eyes and smirked.
"Ya know, Setsuna. I misjudged you. You seem to be pretty good fighter in a battle. What impressed me was you could keep up and attack smoothly without letting your wounds slow you down." Shizune said. She smiled and gave Setsuna a light pat on her back.
Then, Shizune's stomach started rumbling. She stared up at the sky and it looked like the sun was about to set. She looked to the side to talk to the others.
"Hey...uhh, is anyone else hungry?"
SweetJanie - November 19, 2005 02:46 PM (GMT)
Setsuna smiled happily when Shizune told her that.
"You seem to be really good, too. We should spare one of this days!"
Then Shizune's stomach started to growl. Setsuna's eyes widened a bit.
"Hey...uhh, is anyone else hungry?"
"Are you ok? For how many days don't you eat? My stomach only growls after two days and a half."
Tacofoolio - November 20, 2005 04:02 PM (GMT)
"Two and a half days?!" Kazuki stared at her. "Maybe we should stop to eat, I'm a little hungry too, and Setsuna here should be if she waits that long to eat."
Now that everyone was getting along again, it would be easier. He himself was actually impressed with the girls' talents, although was too stunned at first to be impressed when they startedt. Kazuki started looking around them, and noticed a restaurant nearby. It seemed to be nice enough, although he had never been in there.
"Want to try that place right there?" He asked, pointing a short way ahead.
Paladin's Heart - November 20, 2005 05:05 PM (GMT)
"Are you ok? For how many days don't you eat? My stomach only growls after two days and a half."
Shizune's eyes widened. "TWO AND A HALF DAYS?!" She practically yelled out.
Her stomach only growled when she didn't eat breakfast and lunch. She couldn't imagine how someone could fight so well and have so much energy when not eating for two and a half days.
"Want to try that place right there?" Kazuki asked, pointing a short way ahead.
"Hey sure!" Shizune agreed.
They started to walk again, and Shizune stared at Setsuna with awe. Her fighting style and energy, she could fight so well without even eating! She was amazed she met someone like this. To Shizune, Setsuna was super cool! They arrived at the front of the restaurant, but Shizune stopped before someone who was going to open the door.
"So, who's paying?" Shizune smirked.
Tacofoolio - November 20, 2005 05:23 PM (GMT)
"So, who's paying?" Shizune smirked.
"I can pay, it's no trouble." Kazuki said, blushing somewhat. He didn't want them to take that the wrong way, he just wanted to be polite. Afterall, he was the guy, and he could afford it.
Kazuki then held the door open for the girls as they entered.
SweetJanie - November 20, 2005 10:53 PM (GMT)
"No, I eat four times a day... That is only for times of need... I know how long I last because of-"
Setsuna stopped talking, then. Because of what? She couldn't remind anything of her past, but something told her it was because of 'her training'. But what training?
When they were inside of the restaurant, she went to a table and sat there, looking at her hands on her knees. Her eyes were blank, as if Setsuna wasn't there. They were as blank as her memory.

Miyori walked through the semi-busy restaurant with a bored look on her sensual face, no handsome men at all...all of them are either over thirty or under eighteen, awesome, ugh. A look of disgust came to her face as she looked around and saw no man of interest to entertain, that's how she usually made her good tips. Miyori's light brown eyes brightened as a man with two girls came into the restaurant, ugh, but he has company...certainly no match for me though.
With that Miyori glided across the restaurant to serve the group, when she noticed one of the girls seemed to be lost in thought, or just staring at something awfully interesting on her fingernails. Miyori couldn't help but want to start some havoc with the girl because she came in with the only decent-looking man in the restaurant. She happily, but with an angered face, walked over to the table and slammed her hand onto the spot on the table right in front of the girl and in the most condescending voice spoke,
"My, my, my, what is so interesting about your knees, little girl?" Miyori then gave a small laugh, and looked at the man, "I assure you that mine are far more interesting! Hmm, now what will be your order today?" Miyori asked, giving a seductive look.

Shizune saw what the waitress did to Setsuna, and didn't like it at all. She gave her a cold stare and a frown. She folded her arms and started to speak to the woman.
"Geez, what the hell is your problem?" She spat at her. She noticed that she was giving seductive looks at Kazuki. "Holy crap, this guy is a pimp." Shizune thought, with a "I-wish-I-wasn't-here" look.
"Hmm, now what will be your order today?" She asked.
"Umm, well I dunno. Maybe you could give us the Menu or something?" Shizune answered, with a tone of sarcasm in her voice. She smirked, in hopes of annoying the rude waitress.

Miyori noticed the other girl, or whatever it was, she certainly couldn't tell from that disastrous hat she was wearing trying to tell her off, Miyori only gave a light chuckle,
"Geez, what the hell is your problem?"
Miyori gave a small laugh, and looked over to the man,
"My, my, what lovely company you're keeping, sir! You are far above this, I'm sure, you know what they say, you can tell a lot from a man by the company they keep. But I trust this is a lack of judgement, you will certainly come to your senses later."
"Umm, well I dunno. Maybe you could give us the Menu or something?" Miyori couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at this, if a man she talked to was with female company they'd either act like this or go silent, she's trying to make this hard, hah, pathetic.
"Oh dear, how can she see with such a disastrous animal on her head?" Miyori asked, looking at the man once more, "The menus are on the table, little girl." Miyori said, pointing to three menus stacked neatly on the side of the table, it was understandable if someone missed them, but she loved to tease people like this.
