I want to meet anyone here who knows the anime/manga Marmalade Boy. It's really shweet and adorable!! The storyline is very colorful, romantic, hilarious, shweet, and snazzeh... I think many people would enjoy this uber cool soap opera!! :woot: Yes, it may be a soap opera, but a very touching one indeed. I squee everytime I see the cute moments that occur in the story; and squeeing means that I *enjoy* it. The characters are well-developed and just make me want to hug them straight away xD Their relationships with eachother can be very complicated, yet a great deal of experience for strength.

I would like to explain what happens but I'm afraid it might spoil or bore some peoples, so first I would just like to know if anyone knows Marmalade Boy :gift:

I have all 8 volumes of Marmalade Boy but I've never watched the anime. I kno there's quite a bit of new characters in the series and that Yuu leaves to America. Marmalade Boy was the first manga I ever got actually. Ginta is my fave character and I like Meiko too.

*SPOILERS*
I was a bit disappointed that Ginta didn't end up w/ Miki. I mean I like Yuu and all but I like Ginta better. I did end up liking Ginta and Arimi tho. Suzu and Kei are cute together. I always have mixed feelings about how things turned out after reading it but oh well. i also wish they would have shown more of Ginta, Arimi, and meiko together w/ Miki and Yuu at the end.

I think Wataru Yoshizumi's work is very good. Her artwork is very pretty and I like it even better in Ultra Maniac.

Have you seen the anime? is it any good?

I love Marmalade Boy! ^_^ Yoshizumi's work is just amazing.
The only thing I wanted more of was Meiko and Miwa. But alas, happy Nachan.
But the Yuu and Miki parts were good!

*raises hand like a retard* I am a BIG fan of Marmalade Boy! You must know that :lol: I like both Yuu/Miki & Ginta/Miki, but I still loved how the series ended. It was all too sweet. ^_^ The storyline was twisted yet it turned out to be such an amazing story to read, and it really made me laugh or tear. Marmalade Boy was also my very first manga to ever read. Boy, I wish there was a sequel to it though. :sad:

I also loved Marmalade Boy, I've been a fan of the manga and anime for years. I liked the series, it's easy to relate to, because my boyfriend liked to tease me a lot before we got together. The series is serious, sweet and contains a lot of emotion. I read the manga first and the anime is longer then the manga. I wish the manga was longer, it could've been more volumes, it ended way too fast, if it was 18 volumes or more, then the story would've had a lot more development, it ended too quickly.

I loved Satoshi, he's so cute! Too bad he ended up alone.
