Sorry if this has been posted before but if you could just check the full cast and check the japanese voice actors just below the list of the english voice actors, you'll see that Tifa is part of it.

I'm just not too sure if IMDB is reliable though. (uhm...remember the "Eminem as Mr. Coates" thing on AC?)

Any thoughts?

just think if its ture that Nomura,is going to bring Aerith and Cloud together, In KH2 I think it would be a lot better if Tifa was in it. to prov that Cloud in in love with Aerith and only cares for Tifa as friend..

I mean if they did that without Tifa. fans of tifaxcloud would say''its only because Tifa wasnt in the game, Cloud and Aerith got together, if Tifa was in the game, it would've been Tifa and Cloud.''

Hmm, I'll have to disagree with you there. I don't think it would be a wise move on SE's part if they bring the LTD into KH2.

Regardless of wheter Tifa is in KH2 or not, we will not see Cloud romantically involved with Aerith. SE will not solve the LTD, alternate universe or not. I could be wrong, since this is a Disney venture and everyone will get their happy endings, but I just highly doubt Aerith and Cloud will be shown romantically together in KH2. Bringing Tifa into the equation would only complicate things and erupt a new KH LTD.

Anyway, my reason for not wanting Tifa in KH2 is because there's already too many FF7 characters in there. I'd rather have other characters from other games like Rinoa or Yuna.

yin-chan, I fully agree with everything you said.

I know some are hoping for a romance between Cloud and Aerith in KH2, but I just can't see it happening. I believe SE won't solve it so clearly even thought it's in another game. That said, bringing Tifa in would instead fuel the Clotis' claims that SE is promoting Cloti as the canon pairing.

Just look at how some of them are crowing Cloti=canon just because she's getting more attention now than before. The same will definitely happen if she appeared in KH2.

I have nothing against Tifa coming into the game. But I don't believe the Clotis will nod their heads and do what you think they will, Rufus. <_<

I also believed that one of the main reasons they put in SO many FFVII characters in KH was to draw in the market. Now that they've got their claws solidly planted into our hearts, they can start bringing in characters from the other FFs that have, admittedly, less marketing appeal compared to FFVII.

Anyway, I don't trust that site, since I've heard they've gotten things wrong all the time. :lol: I'll wait for reports from the KH fansites instead.

Never EVER use that site to confirm anything before Square themselves say so. That site is as reliable as any other fansite that makes things up as they go.

Though I wouldn't mind Tifa in the game, I can imagine the Clotis' (the rabid ones, mainly) claims. Beside, I agree with ya, yin-chan, Lynn; ya have said your reasons.

Also, I check the cast lists and for the Jap voice actors, I saw Yuna on the list. :o

Nomura touched on that in an interview with Dengeki, I think. Many people think that he doesn't use the FFIX characters because they aren't his creations, but he says himself that it's because he, to sum it up, is worried about messing them up. You know your own characters best, after all, and have a higher chance to going wrong with others' creations.

So maybe, especially if KH continues past KH2, we'll see their cameos after all! :woot:

I imagine if Tifa is in it it'll be much like Itadaki Street Special :)

Why I don't think Tifa will be in it, though. I'm sure Nomura knows that the hardcore KH fans are Clerises. Heck, if they were hardcore CloTi's, there's a high chance they wouldn't have wanted to buy KH in the first place. :lol: That being said, Nomura should know that adding the love triangle to KH, a Disney game, a "perfect world" where Cloud and Aerith can be together, would rub quite a few people the wrong way. :D Unhappy militant Clerises = at least a couple hundred thousand copies less in sales. Unless of course we have a repeat performance of Itadaki. :lol:

I don't really trust that Tifa is going to be in KH2 though. It only lists her Japanese VA, but personally I think the official characters have their English one. But I sorta kind of hope she's in KH2 a bit, but not to involve the LTD again :rolleyes:

Ah, you never know. I thought the ending of KH1 was cute, lol. The romantic ending scenes between the Disney characters were so ...full-on compared to Cloud and Aerith! (especially the saucy Jasmine/Aladdin kiss). Ha, Disney couples mack out like it's out of fashion while our chaste little couple share smiles and looks. Honestly, I like it that way, it shows their characters far better than some Hollywood kiss...

I wouldn't be surprised if Tifa is in KHII. Since AC she's become, kinda more popular, so it wouldn't be odd.

But Cloud's story is suppossed to revolve around light and darkness. So far we all know who, his light and darkness are. So, even if Tifa's in it, she'll most likely have a rol such as Yuffie's.

I think this is a part of the IMDB FF curse as I call it. For some reason FF suffers the most from wrongly submitted information, Eminem as Mr. Coates, the english VAs (completely wrong) announced awhile back for Tifa and Cid, and this is no different. Fact is, Tifa HASN'T been confirmed, and this information is false.

I wouldn't mind if Tifa appeared, but I don't see it as a wise move. What are they gonna do with her character? What will they do with Aeris's character? It doesn't make a lot of sense.

I really hope they add her in aswell, but like what anastar said, they might of messed up, I hope they are correct.

I wonder: What role could Tifa play in KHII? I mean, Yuffie is in there, and really doesn't do much. So, adding Tifa, would mean that she should be given a role, right?

If they keep Tifa with the "main group" of Aerith, Yuffie, Cid, Leon and Cloud-- then she probably won't have much of a role. Too many people in one place makes it hard for an individual character to shine. It would be a waste of a new character.

If they put her in, perhaps it will be as they did with Auron and Seifer in KH2, and Cloud in KH1-- separate world, dealing with another subplot.

Or maybe she'll be the new student at Destiny Islands, 14 years old and conveniently written out of any possible LT debates. :P

Tifa would be cute to be part of the DH crew. There really is no point of adding her to Leon's group, because then we'd be wondering what the hell she was doing in the first one.

And yes, her eyes are brown. Vincent is the only one who has red eyes in the main party.
