What did u guys first think of the Kh ending of cloud and aErith? were u satisfied? did it answer some questions or clarify their relationship in some way? Personally, i wanted to see more than Cloud scratching his head in embarassment.

I loved the ending of KH. Cloud's expression was perfect. He's always been hesitant and uncertain of himself around Aerith... but it was quite obvious who he wanted to see when he walked in that room. ;)

I do wish they had gone further by having Cloud embrace her... at least! A kiss would have been even better. But Nomura said that he wanted to leave that scene open to interpretation... unfortunately.... and I guess that's why Square didn't go any further. :( Nomura did make it clear, however, that Cloud searching for Aerith was a possible interpretation of KH.

It was a dear scene, and I loved it... but I do wish it had gone further. Let's hope that happen in KH2! :D

I'm ashamed to admit that I still haven't finished KH even though I started playing it months ago. For some reason I lost my interest when I reached Hook's ship. I just want to see FF characters! <_<

Let's hope I can force myself to finish it before KH2 is released.

Actually, i am not satisfied with the kh ending, riku being trapped on the dark side aside, the scene of cloud x aerith is too short, and small...it's a little square at the corner of me tv screen :angry:
But their expressions are cute i guess...the way Aerith does her famous bending-forward-with-hands-clasped-behind pose. ^_^

Bleh! Of course I do, sweetie! It's a well known fact that I adore silver haired men. Sephy, Yazoo, Kadaj...mmm...and I think you can almost count Kuja into that group as well, or was his hair more white than silver? :)

Yeah, it was too short, but it was there and that's what counts!! And there was no Tifa, at all, in the game ever. So any doujin-ka or fan fic writers are grasping at straws to say that he saw Aeris, but *THEN* Tifa arrived on her gummy ship and they embraced and reunited. Those things make me wanna gag.

I doubt they'll ever resolve the Love Triangle, but if they do, it's not gonna be CloTi. We know if they did it would be Cloud x Aeris, because they were official before Tifa was ever even thought about. So Cloud and Tifa couldn't really have "Eternal Love," considering Cloud was in love with Aeris before 'Tifa' ever 'existed'...

I just hope that Tifa is never included in KH. Which she won't be, of that I am sure.

One other thing, if Nomura said that he left the ending open to interperetation, that must mean that he wanted all fans to be able to interperet it the way they wanted, right? So that means it is relevant to the love triangle after all, even if not directly.

Nomura also said that the ending of KH might answer questions about Cloud and Aerith's relationship in FFVII, which conclusively means that it pertains to the Love Triangle - despite what some people want to believe. <_<

The only reason they left it open to interpretation is because not all people think Cloud loved Aerith. Besides the CloTi's, there's people who think Cloud loved Sephy, Yuffie, Barret, Mukkie, Zack, and some who think Cloud loved no one at all. Nomura said he didn't want to decide for the player what Cloud is like, and he therefore left it open to interpretation. That means he left it open to ALL interpretations. But if it indicates that Cloud loves anyone, it indicates that Cloud loves Aerith.... and that can't be denied. ;)

I thought that the ending was kind of nice... but I was kind of disappointed with Cloud and Aerith's ending. I wish there were some dialogue or a less ambiguous gesture in Cloud or Aerith's parts. But at least I know that in the end, they got together. :D

I love that pose! :) I agree with Andina that anything Aeris does is cute. Anyway I also thought the scene was a little too short for my taste. If they would have added a hug between the the two it would have been much better. Oh well! At least they put something in.

I thought it was short and sweet it's was definitely an "awwww" moment. It was a nice little bonus for the people who played final fantasy 7 and are familiar with these two wonderful characters and the type of bond they share. ^_^

i agree that the Cleris part at the end is too short... we didn't anything that heavily implied Cleris! *sniff* But to people like me who play KH before FFVII, it looked almost 100% Cleris. I didn't even know that Tifa existed. LOL. ^_^ you just can't argue about this... Cloud and Aerith look soo cute together!

Awww, I thought the ending was perfect. It was in character for them. They were never a huggy kissy couple. Cloud was shy, and Aeris was aware of that and acted accordingly. So, gazing into each other's eyes was pefect for them. Plus, I thought it was TOTALLY sweet. A scene dosen't have to involve a kiss to be sweet

I thought their reunion was adorable. Of course I wished it could have been longer, but we have to remember that the FF characters weren't integral to the story so it's only natural that they wouldn't get a lot of focus. But the reunion scene was sweet, I was grinning stupidly at the tv while I watched the credits.

I loved the ending! There we were still reeling from the extremely FFVII-ish hand-reach scene and what do we see? Cloud and Aerith finally getting back together! After all these years! ^_^

I really do hate it when people say the ending isn't significant. It screams significance. From Nomura's quote--the guy is usually Mr. Vague, but when he talks about this scene, he's very direct, to the scene itself--Ok, Cid wouldn't lean into Cloud like that, Yuffie (who is MORE direct than Aeris) wouldn't lean into Cloud like that, Tifa is no where to be found, ...what's that spell? "They're just friends." Just... friends? FRIENDS DON'T DO THAT. XD It's plain as day! Add to the fact that Aeris is Cloud's light (this is the only interpretation that has been touched upon by Nomura, they say "it was meant for you to take it that way," which is another way of saying, "we planned it like that but we didn't want to say anything"). So there you have it. Significance wrapped up in a tiny less-than-a-minute sequence!
