Cloud really loves Aeris, but that's not to say that he may have never loved Tifa. I think he had a childhood crush on Tifa, nothing more. They were never really 'childhood friends' as Tifa led Cloud to believe, because in the Lifestream sequence, Tifa and Cloud admit they never even really knew each other as children. Cloud was left out of her little clique and the first real conversation he had with her was at the well before he left the town.

Even though Tifa was with Cloud first, there were just some things she didn't understand about Cloud. She think she knows how he feels because she's his childhood friend...WRONG :no:!!!!!! Aeris was the only girl who I think was able to get deep inside his heart. :luv:

Tifa a good person at heart. She would sacrifice her own happiness for Cloud. Yeah, she does deserve someone, just not Cloud.

As much as I dislike Tifa for her wanting of attention and affection :rolleyes:, I agre with you daydreamer. Besides, I don't think it's fair to leave someone broken hearted :no:...even if they care about a cute hot gut that goes with someone else :shifty:
