If Aerith and Zack were both alive (let's pretend) who would aerith choose Cloud or Zack?

Well...I unno if this really is the place to discuss it...but I believe if Zack was still alive, there would be no LTD...he would have gone back for Aerith, I think, and they would still be together. And poor Cloud would be a freaking basket case because he couldn't be a hero for anyone. You have to think, he already failed Tifa once, what makes you think he's really got it in him to do it again? Of course, if Zack was alive, Cloud might never get away from ShinRa and none of the events in the game that happened, sans Sephiroth's nutzoid trip, would have happened...maybe the burning of Nibelheim....but what would Zack have to do with that?

I think it would probably be Cloud, and Tifa would go with Zack... because, for Cloud, Aeris is the one he needs. Tifa deserves much more than Cloud and I think it would be Zack, because he's the hero she has always wanted. Plus, I sorta like ZackxTifa. ^_^

Does anyone know a manga/anime called Marmalade Boy? It's like Yuu/Miki/Ginta/Arimi. Ginta was Miki's first love, but then he acted like a jerk and then they didn't speak to eachother for a year. Afterwards they became friends again once they started to talk to eachother again, but then another boy named Yuu came to Miki's life. Miki is, I think, vibrant, always optimistic, and opens up whatever she feels without hesitation. Yuu, on the other hand, is very skilled yet he never expresses himself. Ginta gets jealous of Yuu & Miki, but then Yuu's ex-girlfriend, Arimi, comes to the picture and also gets jealous of Yuu being with Miki all the time. Ginta & Arimi meet and they make a plan to make them jealous, but they fail after trying for so long. Ginta was still jealous of Yuu & Miki but he understood how she felt about Yuu when she started falling in love with him, and so he promised her if Yuu ever makes her cry, he'll kick his ass. Then near the end of the story, Ginta realizes that he's in love with Arimi; they both fall in love with eachother and... yeah. :unsure: To me, Ginta and Miki portray Tifa and Cloud. They both made promises, but then Ginta and Miki are only friends; but they still keep their vows. AS FRIENDS. Then afterwards it was Miki's mission to keep Yuu happy and try to make him smile... And since Arimi is Yuu's ex, she might as well represent Zack. (Sorry, I sound confusing... I'm in a rush >_<) So: Yuu&Miki = Aeris&Cloud (but with flopped personalities) // Ginta&Arimi = Tifa&Zack.

Ginta & Miki shared a past together, like Cloud and Tifa, and Yuu & Arimi used to date eachother. Yuu & Miki meet eventually and fall in love, and Ginta & Arimi find themselves in love as well. ^_^

Aahh! I agree!! Zack is exactly the kind of person Tifa is looking for! Charming, daring, suave, a real ladies' man, a hero. Her hero that will come save her whenever she wants and lavish her with all the attention she needs and stays optimistic no matter the situation. Tifa and Zack would be perfect!!!

Cloud fits Aerith somehow. He needs someone like her who can help him lift his burden. ^_^ His more distant personality suits her very well - see how well they were getting along in the game? :wub:

Well, in the book FFVII Dismantled Aerith stated that, while Cloud and Zack were similiar, she liked Cloud more than Zack. So, based on Aerith's own feelings on the matter, I would have to say she would be with Cloud. :cleris: Also, Zack is the perfect man for Tifa. He is the daring, charming hero she has always wanted, so I'll bet Tifa would go for Zack.

yeah....well for some reason I ALways thought like that (don't laugh) but whenever I read romance novels or something I portray the main couple Aerith & Cloud...and therest of the cast as other characters...and well I DID hook up Tifa and Zack....but I like Reno 4 her better :huggle:

I think she'd choose Cloud for the same reason stated by FF_Goddess. In FFVII Dismantled, the creators specified that Aerith grew to love Cloud more than Zack. Therefore, if Aerith knew both Cloud and Zack, I think she'd pick Cloud.

Besides, I think Tifa would be happier with Zack than Cloud, anyway.

well I just never thought that Tifa was right 4 Cloud and as soon as Aerith came along I just fell in love with her i'm all like "yup ....he's gonna like her...."

and well also Cloud lokks better w/ Aerith as Tifa WOULD look better with Zack

She would definitely choose Cloud..no doubt :)
She cared for Zack when she was a teenager and obviously Zack wasn't her type...at least he would't fit with someone like Aeris!

not just because of that...I mean it's how they both compliment each other in body & soul I mean Aerith was the only one to ease Cloud's pain ...no one really understood him as well as she did (not even his "childhood friend" <_< )
