I too, also fail the reason behind hating Namine. She just seems as lonely as ever. This is my opinion, so I just wanna know if there are a few other Namine Supporters out there :lol:

Well, I was really 'wtheck!' at that. Yes, I love Sora/Kairi, but I don't hate Namie, if anything, I hate Sora! xD! Because he was saying even though the memories were fake the feeling was real...so he said he still felt the same way (liking her, I'm sure) so I was very 'aah, cheating on Kairi!'. But then he lost his memories of her but she was waiting for him, so I hope there won't be any Sora/Namie because of his feelings during the fake memories. :sad: Those memories was suppose to be of Kairi, so what he felt for Namie was like what he had felt for Kairi since it was like the same memories.

But, no, I don't hate Namie. I feel sorry for her too! She seems nice. It was really cute when Riku reconized right away that it wasn't Kairi though. ^^ Aah, no, must not turn Riku/Kairi! :lol:

Yes, she will actually! I've seen the trailer and some screenshots of her talking to BHK in Castle Oblivion (Yin, that's where KH: COM takes place!) Onigiri, I'm sort of a SoraxNaminexKairixRiku sort of thing...haha! >_<

I don't really like CoM that much, the controls are...bleck.

Well, I'm not a fan of Namine, but I don't like Kairi either, so it's not because the rivalry thing. I simply don't like Namine because of her attitude towards the Riku replica (he was loyal to her and she never so much as treated him as a friend. Come to think of it, did she even talk to him at all?). Plus, she was protrayed as a weak, manipulated, and- forgive me- somewhat whiny character. The only thing that redeemed her was the fact that she plucked up the courage to tell Sora the truth, and she stood up to Marluxia at the end.

I think that unless something is done to make her into a stronger character, Namine will likely remain disliked by the vast majority. Oh, maybe it's partly also because I don't like the possible Namine x Riku pairing?

They don't even talk that much or nothing.....but they WOULD make a cute couple...

and I have to admit that Sora's line..."after all we used to be inseparable, me, Riku,....and Namine" kinda pissed me off....I mean afterall those promises to kairi and all...well to tell the truth Kairi doesn't appeal to me all that much..she's sorta like a "meh" character to me...I DID hate Namine at first but then I saw that she had no chouce so I went like oh whatever....

actualy i really liked namine alot i didn't really like kairi because of her very small seemingly role in the first game so i found her poitnless but namine's attitude seemed similar but was actually totally different from kairi i liked how namine didn't really force people to do things she let them choose for themself and made it seem liek it was the right choice

Hmm....Yin has never played COM....but I never really felt that much for Kairi. I was a Riku x Kairi supporter though (but yes, I know sora x kairi is canon ^_^ )

Yeah, the ending was so sad with the scene in the cave! But I feel, especially after CoM, that Riku cares for Kairi a lot more than Sora cares for her, like Kairi is more special to Riku than she is to Sora. But Kairi obviously likes Sora more than Riku. Aww, poor Riku...

You never know. Namine seemed to be fond of Riku, plus, I wouldn't be surprised if she became some sort of 'consolation prize' for him since he can't have Kairi.

I hope not. I'm really tired of seeing people with 'consolation prizes'. Just because they don't get the girl or guy doesn't mean they have to pair them up with someone just so they could be happy. Those usually seem so forced. =/
But sometimes they do it well and it is really cute. But I hate how when there is AxB, CxB and AxD, if it comes out AxB, they pair up CxD!

I like Namine, I'm really quite fond of her, although I'm a huge Sora x Kairi fan. ^_^

I don't really understand the hatred of her honestly, as although she was manipulated, it's hard not to be, especially when brute force CAN come into the equation. She's not a fighter and she isn't strong, but her weakness is human, born of loneliness and regrets. I can understand why Namine wouldn't like the Repliku (Riku-Replica) as he was very violent, especially against Sora, who Namine seemed to care about.

And yes, I'm kinda fond of Namine x Riku. XD However, that's just my pairing!whore-ness coming out. XD

I'm gonna have to agree with Tifa Lockheart....

But anyway.....Namine is just another character to me ^_^ But having a Riku/Namine pairing would be nice...but it wouldn't make a difference to me...^_^

Poor Namine gets no love. I adore her personality--she's so sweet and kind of jaded as a character, so she kind of reminds me of Tifa in that light. (especially with the memory bending. Really, COM was practically a Disney-ified reinactment of the Lifestream Event in some places.) I used to be a bit of a Rikune supporter, but now I'm getting fangirlish ideas about her and Roxas. :fangirl: But I think she really, really needs someone to cling to who will cling to her back, much like Tifa needs someone unlike Mr. Dubious Strife to appreciate her. ;)

Regardless...the world needs Namine pairings. People get crazy when they're lonely, pseudo-witches included. :D

Yeah, I'm a fan of SoraxKairi, as for hooking Namine with someone else, I don't have an opinion of that. It doesn't really matter who she's 'with' really.

The other day it did come across my mind of what if Namine was the real evil behind the Organization, it'll be pretty different from other Square games I would think. Don't hate me fans, I like Namine too! I really felt sorry for her in CoM but at the same time I can't help but think how cool it would be if she was a villain.

At first I hated Namine, but then I thought "Weeeell it IS quite obvious that Sora and Kairi are gonna get together anyway sooooo...." :sweat: I don't mind her so much, but she did seem really weak and the fact that (even though she had no choice) she killed Sora's miiiind...I got really....really...REALLY pissed off at Namine at that point. Especially when Sora started fighting with the Riku Replica about Namine! :mad: Yeah....Well anyway, I just saw a big, fat spoiler that ROCKED so I haff no worries about Namine interfering with my love of SoraxKairi. :heart:

I suppose Namine is going to end up with the BHK. That's good... But doesn't really excite me. I guess I'm not too fond of either? Hopefully I'll change my mind when I play KH2.

Naminé...eh, I don't like her much. But as long as she doesn't...(I already know she won't...) get in the way of Sokai then I'm fine with her.

What I can say, I don't know Namine very well and what is her role in the KH series... I will play the KH2 and see...but she is adorable...don't you think?

I didn't really like Namine at first, but once she stood with Sora I was all happy! lol. I favor Sora and Kairi of course. but I dont mind if Sora and Namine are friends. :D

I like Namine as a character now for what she's done near the end of CoM and KHII. At first I was like 'who's this girl erasing Sora's memories?' and didn't like her much because she was messing with Sora's memories. And I was very shocked at how EASILY Sora forgotten about Kairi when even Donald can mutter parts of her name!!! I was like 'How could you Sora!!!'

But in KHII she is sooooooooo pretty and so helpful with Roxas and Kairi that I actually started to like her and I just love the pairing of Roxas and Naimine!! It's cute how they also represents the couple Sora and Kairi!!And at the end of KHII the cutscene of them is just sooooooo cute!!! :cleris:

Having played KH2, I can safely say I like Namine now. :D
